Transferring Banked Points and Banking Transferred Points

I have a couple of questions to which I haven't been able to
find a definitive answer. I think I know the answer to the first one:
Can you transfer banked points? I believe the answer is no,
and therefore why people with banked points rent a reservation
rather than points. Is that correct?

Second, if someone transfers points to you, can you bank them?
I have a friend and we both own at DVC and sometimes exchange
points between us. So I want to make sure that we don't get
burned and find transferred points have to be used in the year
they are transferred.

We already ran into a snag, learning that borrowed points could
not be transferred, leaving us two points short of what we need
for our last vacation day, even though both of us have 2009 pts
still available.

Banked points CANNOT be transfered.

Transfered points CAN be banked.
