We have 300 points at OKW - 175 contract, 75 contract and a 50 point contract (with a different use year). We have 100 points at VWL and 100 points at BCV. We have some points left over in our 50 point OKW (with Dec use year) contract that we would like to transfer to our VWL contract (with Sept use year). Can we transfer these points and still get the 11 month advantage? Or will it still limit us to 7 months to make a VWL reservation?

Only the 50 pt contract is Dec use. The other 450 are Sept use.

Looking forward to four nights at BCV at the end of this month.

It's my understanding that you can't transfer points from one contract to another. So, I would think that those extra 50 points could not be used for VWL until the 7 month window.

Please, all the experts on these types of questions, please correct me if I'm wrong.

While points may be transferred to different contracts and even different members, they will always retain their original use year and home resort status. Thus, OKW points will always be able to reserve at that resort 11 months ahead and 7 months at any other DVC resort, whether transferred or not.

Enjoy!

Y'all are fast! Thanks, that's what I wanted to know.
