Has anyone done both for Spectromagic and Wishes??? I like sitting on the curb in Main Street. If you sit up on the train station, do you feel you miss having the parade and characters right there, up close and personal??? I can imagine it's a fantastic view though, especially for Wishes.

I ALWAYS grab a spot up at the rail of the train station for Spectromagic. People with children may feel differently, as there is no chance to interact with the characters from there (well, maybe wave if they happen to look up!), but I have the most spectacular shots of parades and fireworks from up there!

::yes::

I've done both. I prefer watching Spectro from street level. I feel more immersed in the experience that way. Watching from the train station you get a better overview and can see all the floats coming from a distance but its not the same as being right next to them.

Thanks, I want the experience more for my brother and family and wondered if I should opt for the view versus what I consider the "magic" of Main Street. I definitely will not do the Fronteirland again. We did that for the Christmas parade and never again. Just wasn't as "picturesque" of a scene and "special seeming" as Main Street.
