Trails End

How late would you schedule a "late" lunch at Trails End, since its a buffet I was wondering if the food wouldn't be as fresh or it they would replensh the bar at the ending of lunch hours. Has anyone eaten here and eaten a late lunch. Also how is the food, the menu looks good and very resonable!

They always keep there food very fresh.
We like to go later...less crowding or be there when the doors open is even better.
Trails end always has great food and a great price, it is one of our favorites!

trail's end is great anytime of the day! it is well worth the effort to get there.

We ate a late lunch there today! We got there about 2:15 (lunch is till 2:30) and we got in about 5-7 minutes later. The hostess was telling people that you could get in until 2:30 but they would keep putting food out till eveyone was done. We left very full about 45 minutes later and didn't have any concerns about the food--quality or quantity. Enjoy!

That's good to know. We've never eaten there but I think we may try it next trip. We like to eat at "off hours" because of less crowding, so I feel better now knowing they keep replenishing with fresh food through the end of dining periods.
