seems i remember reading a post about take-out at Trail's End; where you got a large container and 2 small that you could fill at the buffet, to go. i'm considering this with my 2 kids, who are not big eaters in the evening.

has anyone done this, or know if it is doable? any help greatly appreciated!

I'm not sure about the take-out, however, connected to Trail's End is Crockett's Tavern. You can get pizza there, which I'm pretty sure you can take out.

Are you staying in Fort Wilderness?

We did take out at Trails Ends in Sept 2003. We ordered two adult carry outs. It contained 2 large containers, 2 soups, 2 deserts and 2 drinks. It was more than enough for 2 adults and 2 kids. We crammed in steak, fried chicken, ribs, salmon, veggies, pizza, mac and cheese and of course dessert. :hyper: It was so much food when we returned to our resort. We even had enough leftovers for a late night snack.::yes:: ::yes:: I think it was a great value. By the way, we arrived at opening at 4:30pm and my 2 y.o. DS was the official bell ringer to open the restaurant. It was priceless111
