Trail's End Buffet

For anyone who has eaten breakfast at Trail's End at FW. Do they have Mickey Mouse shaped waffles?

Breakfast buffet that we have enjoyed several time over the years and the MICKEY waffles are great.

If we took the bus over to FW from WL, how hard would it then be to get to Trail's End? For just DD (almost 3) and I do you think it would be too much trouble? I've looked at the menus and it seems like a good value with plenty of things we would like. I'm just wondering if it's too far "out of the way" to be worth going to.

If I was staying at the WL...I would just hop the boat to Ft Wilderness. Then Trails End is just a minute walk from the dock at Ft Wilderness...it is a GREAT breakfast place. There's the added bonus of getting to explore a little at Ft Wilderness...be sure to take your daughter over to the petting zoo and then walk through the barn where they keep the Main Street Trolley horses, and if she likes horses the $2 (or is it $3?) pony rides are great...you get to lead her around on the pony. It is all right there beside Trails End and a nice break from the hustle of the parks.

Great for a "day off" in the middle of your trip, when you might not be going to the parks or at least not rushing over to them in the AM.

I think it is really worth the effort to get there (and from the WL it would be perfect).

We thoroughly enjoyed our breakfast there last summer. So much, that we are going back for seconds! Wait...we had seconds on our first trip! We had even thought that we might try lunch here this time! It is the same price as breakfast. The Mickey waffles are great!
