I'm trying to get my ADRs in order for our trip to visit the Mouse in May. Last year we went to Mickeys Backyard BBQ and loved it ! We loved the atmosphere at Ft Wilderness and we are considering doing a dinner at TEB with time before our reservation for some wandering around the resort. What are your thoughts about Trails End Buffet ? Good, Bad, Indifferent ? I'd love any and all info ! Oh, by the way, we are Me (39), DH (42), DS (9) and DS (5).

Trails End Buffet is very good. I have been to all three, breakfast, lunch and dinner. I think there buffets are very econical for the money, and the food is very good also. I really enjoyed the lunch buffet, there is usually something for everyone. You get a lot of food for the money, plus the servers are great. I would give it a try. I am going there in May for lunch.

We LOVE TEB. They have the best "home cookin" food. If you like bbq ribs, they are the best there. Their breakfast is delivious too. The atmosphere is comfortable, fantastic and fun servers. I highly recommend. where are you staying?

We stayed at the campground in Oct for 9 nights and prob at at T.E.B. about 5 times total. We were very happy with the food both breakfast and dinner. I look forward to eating there again when we go back!

We went for the Trails End Buffet on Christmas Day 2006 during a BIG RAIN STORM. Other than the long bus ride to get there the food was really, really good. The waitress was extra special as she was really attentive to our needs.

Our table seating was very poor though. We were close to the buffet but constantly had a line behind my wife's seat.

I would definately go there again but would request a different table.

We've always enjoyed Trail's End. It doesn't have as much variety or "fancy" foods as some of the other WDW buffets. But what is there is good! They usually have ribs, chicken, some kind of carved meat and a fish dish. Also the standby foods of pizza, macaroni & cheese and the salad bar. Soup and/or chili is there. If you like the HDDR chicken and ribs, they are the same at Trail's End.

We have loved breakfast and dinner here....shhhhhhhhhhh, this is a WDW well kept secret! Great value for good food if you are paying OOP.

Irab1126 - We'll be staying at Pop Century. We'll have a car though, so won't have to rely on busses to move between resorts. My sons love what DS(9) calls "normal food". Ribs, fried chicken, ribs, shrimp and did I mention ribs ? :woohoo: From what I'm reading, TEB seems to be one of the little known jewels of Disney. Good food, great atmosphere, great prices. Can't wait to check it out !! Thanks for helping us to make up our minds !

DW and I tryed it for the 1st time Oct 07 it was SUPPPPPPER. Great food and Great sever. We are going back this May and Trails end was the 1st dinner on our ADR. Take the boat from the Magic Kingdom to it nice ride. :cheer2: I`m sure you and your family will love it too.

This is my DS's favorite place to eat in WDW. Ribs are delicious!

Yum!! This place sounds great!! DH and I will be returning for our second trip to the World in Feb 09 and are looking for other places to have a great breakfast!! We will be doing deluxe dining again, but need to pay for 3 meals OOP due to eating at a few sig restaurants. Could someone let me know how much breakfast is?? TIA!

This buffet is the best! We always have one dinner there when we are at WDW! Lots of folks are recomending the ribs - keep in mind that they are the dry smoked ribs and not cooked in sauce - an overcooked slab is a big downer! Don't miss the corn bread near the salad and chili bar - wowsza!

Driving your car over to Ft. Wilderness will still necessitate taking the bus from the main parking area back down to the restaurant - either the orange or the purple internal loop bus. We have taken each - but we really enjoyed the one that travels thru the rv and camp sites more then the trip thru the cabin areas. The campers have a lot more fun decorating their sites - the ride is a hoot - as much fun as the campers! It all shows up best after dark.

Hi, are sodas included in the price at lunch and dinner? Thanks, Vero.

Yes, soda is included....

We enjoyed the Trails End very much. As stated, the food is not fancy but it is good cooking. Very full after eating there. Service was very good and the place was empty the night we eat there. Only thing they could have improved was the desserts. Selection was limited and what we had was not very good tasting. But we don't need to eat all that dessert anyway, so we would go back again with out question!

In WDW in my opinion we eat here at least once each visit to WDW.:goodvibes :goodvibes :goodvibes

We've had breakfast there twice and highly recommend it! We hope to try lunch or dinner there during our trip in May.

Do you need an ADR or can you pretty much get in without one?
