Traffic to Daytona Bike Week from WDW

DH wants to take a day to go to Daytona for Bike Week. How bad is the traffic going to be? Has anyone ever done this? Any comments, suggestions? Was I crazy to agree to this?
At least I DID talk him out of renting a Harley to drive there!

The traffic on 92 from the Daytona Speedway to the beach will be very crowded at times. From Orlando to the exit to route 92 won't be overly crowded on I-4.

If you go primarily to please your DH, you will be pleasantly surprised. It can be fun and interesting if you go with the proper mindset.

You made the right decision.
