we're driving to WDW from the atlanta area and are arriving on sunday, may 6th. we're going to leave saturday and spend the night somewhere around gainesville, FL, then drive to WDW sunday morning - i think that's about 2-and-a-half hours. anyway, i'm wondering how traffic is on the florida turnpike and I-4 on sunday mornings? i would think since it's a weekend it wouldn't be bad (judging by our infamous atlanta traffic patterns), but being that it's near WDW the regular rules may not apply. should i be concerned about the traffic that time of day/week?

Assuming its not Easter or 4th of the July or whatever it should be fine.

The roads should be wide open on Sunday morning. But if you're already in Gainesville you might want to keep on driving.....only about 90 more minutes to the Orlando area!
