Trading SW Ticket for 2nd Day?

I'm curious how this works - I read on another thread that at the end of my day at SW I could just trade in my SW ticket for a second day? Really? Where/how?? Do I have to have a special ticket??

There's an office on the left hand side as soon as you go thru the turnstiles that you can go and get the upgrade for the second day.

I also suggest not waiting until the end of the day to do that since it's usually very crowded then. We went as soon as we walked into the park on the first day without a line.

Does anyone know if ANY ticket qualifies for a second day free? I've got tickets we purchased for $25 each.

Also, is this a special just for a certain time, or is this upgrade always available?

I just called SeaWorld and they 2nd day free upgrade ended as of 12/31/07. They have a special now that if you purchase one-day ticket, you can get it upgraded to some kind of fun card or something so you can come back for the rest of the year. No charge for the upgrade. . .

If you already have tickets, like we do, guess we are outta luck.

Alot can happen in 3/4 months as this board has shown in the past, SW may put the offer on again.

We were as well. We have done fairly extensive planning around that 2nd day, so we will hope they bring that promo back. Maybe if they get enough e-mails. . . . . (aahuumm)

If not, we will for sure find something to occupy ourselves since we have a list of things we want to do but are trying to fit in somehow. It's a loss to SeaWorld because we will obviously spend our money somewhere else. I'm betting there's a whole lot of folks just like us who would be willing to go back for a second day, but aren't willing to shell out for another ticket. I know we could easily drop several hundred on that second day. Peanuts to them, I know . . . . . .

They have always had something. A few years back, I paid an extra $5 for a fun card to come back as much as we wanted for a year.

The tickets were used this last trip and got the extra day were the NRA/Busch ones also.

We have those tickets as well, as will be using them at the end of April, 08. We really hope there is some sort of special we can upgrade to.

UPDATE: Ok, so this morning I called SeaWorld again and got a different answer. I was told that the the second day free special was ongoing. The very kind representative I spoke with went and checked with her supervisor after I explained what I had been told and she was told, also by her supervisor, that the second day free IS still ongoing and all you have to do is go to guest services window to get the second day free upgrade. Figuring majority rules, I called back again for a third time to see what their answer was this time. . . . ladies and gentlemen, the 2nd day free promo is continuing after all. With ANY single day ticket you are entitled to the upgrade. YEAH! Glad I persistently called back. . . something I learned on these boards. .. . keep calling because alot of time you get incorrect information.

I was just reviewing some material sent to me by SeaWorld and there is a brochure that states you can get a second day free with the purchase of any admission to Seaworld. The fine print says the "offer is good for one additional visit to SeaWorld during regularly scheduled park hours for up to 13 consecutive days from the date of the first visit at no extra charge".

We were there Monday of this week. The signs for a 2nd day free were still up at the Guest Relations building right inside of the park. We used our NRA fundraiser tickets ($25 donation => free tix) to go in and they did give us a 2nd day return visit ticket. It expires 7 days after our visit (not 13). Not sure if they are phasing out the return deal or what - just sharing our experience.
