Who do you think will win this week?? I liked both of them but I think the yellow team edged out the others because they were able to change their design in order to have the plasma TV fit.

Red team moved on.

I liked the flexibility of the yellow team to accomodate the plasma TV unlike the lavendar team keeping it in the box. I also had such a bad taste in my mouth from them the last time, I guess I could not shake my dislike of them, also. I wonder if I looked at the rooms differently because of that? No...I liked the yellow room better, anyway!!!!!!!!

Yellow all the way, their room rocked! I didn't like how the lavendar team didn't really "play by the rules"... they didn't incorporate the plasma tv in and they didn't really feature much of the fabric (the rule was that it was supposed to feature prominently). Then at the end when Ms. Lavendar had the NERVE to say she was disappointed that she didn't have hardwood floors... well, that was it for me!

ITA! Last time, I thought the lavender team was "dissing" the design too much...almost like they wanted to plant a little seed about it being the less likable design. This time, she made sure to note the lack of hardwood floors.

The yellow team could have been equally petty seeing as they either can have that armoire in their living room or the plasma tv, but not both. I also thought lavender copped out with the $2000 challenge since they opted to pay more for the sofas than they were worth.

I hope yellow wins it all...I just like them!

I voted for yellow also for several reasons:

They played by the rules with the fabric AND the tv

That was lame how lavendar only spent $600 of the $2000; why not rush around a little more and get SOMETHING- they could have gone to a flea market or a couple more homes. I mean, it was nice that they gave that woman a little windfall, but I think they could have tried harder.

I just don't like Justine. I'm sure she is a very nice person, but she just irritates me. And I noticed too how she had to put the little dig about the floors- they did shampoo the carpet at least! And you can tell Justine and Glen were taken aback at how much they did like the room. I think they were expecting to be unhappy with it.

One last thing----I don't like how Justine, Glen, Doug and Carter "Gelled..." I don't think they were on the same page---someone was having communication problems. And I get the feeling Doug (whom I love in a bad boy way) and Carter just don't get along really. Or they are playing that up for the cameras.

What I like about the yellow team- no matter who they are put with, they just work well together. Yeah, they got tired at the end, but I would have too. I loved Angel's art work & how it went with the curtains (which were so pretty!) and I just loved how they worked so great with Amy Wynn and Edward. They deserve to move on---their room was great (although the sofa was a bit much, but Glen and Justine said they needed more seating, so there ya go)- very elegant, very nice.

:D

Yellow team, for reasons mentioned above. :)

I phoned in to vote and was surprised that it actually worked from Canada because when I've called in to vote for other shows the number doesn't usually work.

Yellow team. Same reasons. They were not good with the shopping or TV.

I voted for the yellow team, pretty much for all the reasons stated above. The only thing I didn't like was the huge, overstuffed sectional, but Glen and Justine did, so that's what matters. I'd like to see Angel and Vilma win it all.

I'd like to see Angel and Vilma win it all.

I agree. So, now Vilma's had a chance to oogle Ty AND Carter.....we need to get them to bring in Andrew from WYWO to round out the package for her. :smooth:

Yellow for all the reasons stated above. I really think the Yellow team has been the strongest competitors since the beginning. I really did not like the digs the Lavender Team put in at the end - I hope the rest of America is a savvy as you all are to catch that she really wasn't telling truth and was trying to manipulate the viewers.

I loved those shelves the Yellow team had Amy do - what beautifull wood - and good for her to dig back at the Lavender woman by stating that she now has $1,500 curtains.

I hope the rest of America is a savvy as you all are to catch that she really wasn't telling truth and was trying to manipulate the viewers.

Yeah. I think the crying act (his) was a bit over the top too.

Did anyone else have trouble last night getting into the site? I had to wait till 9:45 to vote and enter. I have not had that happen until last night - I wonder if there were higher than normal viewers and therefore voters due to Ty's show not being on.

I too hope that the Yellow team goes all the way! They just seem like good, hard working people. The purple team didn't follow the rules and that "crying act" was just too much! I thought it was nice of the neighbors to spend the night helping when they didn't get to move on in the game.:teeth:

I also voted for Yellow.

I really didn't see what people were saying about the Violet team after the first round. But after last night - NOW I get it.

Justine was going (ie - planned) to "hate" the room no matter what it looked like. Too bad Vilma and Angel totally blew them away with that room! I LOVED the color green they chose and that shelving unit Amy Wynn built was just too cool. (and with the TV in the room - amazing!)

and that whole crying thing Glen pulled...total BS! I didn't get to vote last night online...but I too hope america noticed this!

Definately the Yellow.....i loved there designs..

Thanks for the link, Galahad!

I too voted Yellow for many of the same reasons already mentioned. They just are totally flexible and not at all flapable! Their room was gorgeous too! I was really disappointed at the furniture the lavender team chose. I thought they shortchanged the yellow team. I suspect the yellow team was a bit disappointed in what they got in their room too, but at least it wasn't awful.

Yes, it took me over an hour to get into the site too.

Oh My Gosh - we voted lavendar! How funny is that!

We loved the room they did! I hated the room that the yellow team did. The couch was way too big and a horrible color! I really didn't think too much about the tv. Why take out a huge part of the room with the armoir just to accomodate the last minute tv? Just my opinion!
Too funny!

Kelly

I'm so glad most people liked the yellow room. That's what I voted for. I really didn't like the lavendar team from the 1st round and just couldn't get past that. I'm glad their room wasn't as nice as the yellow one because it made voting against them so much easier. If the yellow team advances it's going to be harder going forward because I liked the other teams.

As an aside, what did you think when the lavender husband cried? I actually had to change the channel because I found it embarassing to the point of not being able to watch it.
