Anyone else think Doug was in rare form? I was cracking up through half the episode cause he was clearly being such a smart-***! And I liked both rooms well enough, although they weren't that bad to begin with! I thought the carpenter thing was a bit silly----anyone who watches that show knows that Hildi and Doug are the two best at pitching in with carpentry projects. I wonder if something happened and they truly didn't have a carpenter or it was just a little ploy. I watched TS once where Edward hurt himself at the last second, so Kia had to step in and work with his plans, so I *guess* it's possible something happened to their carpenter.

I thought is was interesting the way Doug made his hair look like Ty's. I personally don't care for Doug's attitute towards the home owners ("consider the source" comment from Home Free, for instance), but he is certainly mighty fine looking!!!!!!

Have you noticed that Hildi and Doug seem to be the only designers recently? I am so tired of seeing Hildi every weekend!

Yes, there certainly has been lots of Hildi going on lately! My guess with her is that she is contracted to do so many episodes & since she lives overseas she probably does blocks of them at a time, instead of spreading herself out like some of the other designers. But, I will say I have liked the majority of her rooms lately! Not crazy, scary Hildi like some of her rooms last fall (cardboard, feathers, etc).

I think Doug is so over the top with his BS that it's fake. I just don't think he's truly that rude to the homeowners when the cameras aren't rolling; plus with editing...I mean I can be catty and snotty just like him, but then I laugh or roll my eyes or do something so the person I am talking with knows I am just being silly....TS editors leave that part out I am sure!

And YES I agree Doug looked pretty fine tonight!

Thought that was hilarious! Thought the comments about Hildi being a better carpenter than designer were pretty funny too.
What did you think of the home owner's reaction......"we go Hildi's good room!"? LOL!
