Can I trade some pins that have a name on them when I am at the parks,

can not trade pins that have people's names on them.
If I remember correctly if it has orlando or florida on it you may

put a post on the collectors board here to get the best answer!

Proper names (John, Mary, etc.), no. Too hard for CM's to trade away.

We had varying luck with some personalized pins that read "#1 daughter." We got a bunch at a big discount, probably because many CM's won't take them. We went with the idea that these were not "names," and would apply to ~50% of the population. And we had about a 50% success rate trading them away (higher if my 7 yo dd was the trader, lower for my dh ("what kind of father would trade away his dd's pin?!?")). We never argued with the CM's, just moved on to the next one and eventually they were all traded away.

sue Z: Thanks for the tip about the collectors board--I didn't know there was such a thing. I better not tell my dh, or he'll get hooked on the DIS, too!
