Trader Sams, a good option for MK afternoon break?

Do the crowds tend to thin out later in the evening, or is it packed until closing? We're going to the 8:15 "Spirit of Aloha' Luau, and I was wondering if it would be worthwhile to stop by afterward, before heading back to our resort.

When we were there, we got there around 3:50pm and were given a pager that would buzz once they were open. We got buzzed at the same time folks who got there at 3:30 (or earlier) did, so we basically all piled in together. The place ended up being full once we all were seated, but we did get a seat at the bar. Worst case, you could always sit on the patio - ample seating out there.
