Kind of an odd question but figured if anyone had ideas someone here might!

Going to head to DL for first time in 40 years in June for a day. I also have a comp 1-day hopper for WDW that expires in October that I won’t be able to use. Anyone have any brilliant ideas on how to possibly trade for a 1-day to DL? (Other than the obvious but annoying trying to just sell the WDW and buy the DL pass).

It depends on the comp ticket, did it come from a CM? Their comp tickets should be valid at all Disney parks, except Tokyo.

So check the fine print, you might find it valid at Disneyland. Even if it isn't, try going to guest relations outside the park and ask if they might be willing to swap it out. They probably wouldn't, but never hurts to ask.

Also, you usually can't sell a comp ticket and can get into big trouble for trying to do anything besides giving it away for free, donating it or using it.

Disney tickets usually state that they are not for re-sale, are non-refundable, and are non-transferable. Check the fine print to see what the restrictions are on your ticket. The DIS Boards do not promote, support, or condone the violation of any Disney policy. As the pp said, if you find that you cannot use your ticket (and, as the pp said, it cannot hurt to ask about a swap), then gifting it or donating it would be your options.
