I am so glad you had a snow day, unbelieveable they wanted you to park in that lot and walk on those sidewalks. Thank goodness somebody came to their senses!

More snow?:eek: Yikes! :cold: We didn't get as much snow as was forecasted yesterday. I look out my window every morning and think the snow is pretty, but I am ready for spring already! :sunny:

OMG - heavy snow forcast tomorrow, monday, tuesday AND wednesday - thats as far as the long range forcast goes!!
the only good thing will be if i get more snow days off ;) its been the longest christmas break!!

poor DH is worn out gritting everynight - but tonight is his last night on call he gets a ''normal'' week at work during the day (hes on call & on nights every other week) hes put a couple of days holidays in next week as his sleep patterns are all over the place - last night in his sleep he jumped out of bed ran into the wardrobe door & jumped on me!! :scared1: i screamed at him to get off & he just lay back down asleep! he couldnt remember a thing about it when i told him today!!

i forgot to WI yesterday so did it today - no change still :) considering what ive ate over the last 3 weeks i'm more than happy :)

Saturday
b/fast - cereal - 250 cals
lunch - steak, fries, 2 smll onion rings, mini corn cob, grilled tomato, & mushrooms, lf yogurt - 750 cals
dinner - 3 smll pieces of crusty bread toasted with french brie & chopped tomato on top :love: - 400 cals

total cals so far - 1400 but i may have something later as i'm still feeling hungry, proberbly because of the awesome workout i did today.....

exercise - 900 cals at gym :) i had soooo much energy at the gym today! even the trainer commented on it & said how many of the regulars havent been turning up because of the weather & how impressed he was with me :goodvibes i said i wanted to work hard as i didnt know when i'd be able to get back again because of the weather & that i've worked too darn hard to get to this point to give it all up now! so feeling pretty proud of myself :thumbsup2

Good for you to get in your workout...doesn't it feel great on those high energy days?

Your poor DH. :( I bet all of those extra hours on call are tough, especially since the weather is not cooperating right now. Here's hoping he's able to get some rest and catch up on some sleep!:wizard:

It seems like your poor DH is always on call when the weather is at its worst! I'm glad to hear he will have a more regular schedule next week.

I bet you were freaked out when he was sleepwalking! But I bet after the shock wears off, you guys will be able to laugh about it. :lmao:

Saturday

b/fast - cereal - 250 cals

Temps actually above freezing today :yay:...just!

had some cereal with fresh strawberries last night so another 250 cals
total - around 1700 (i like to round up)
when i'm back in a normal routine i really need to drop my cals - i'm maintaining but not losing, its hard as i find even though i feel much fitter - the exercise makes me much hungrier!! & if i drop cals much i get light headed!! we'll see! seeing nurse next week so will ask her advice.

sunday
b/fast - cereal - 250 cals
lunch - chk/bacon pasta bake with cheese/bacon bread - 750 cals
dinner - 5 crispbreads with lf cheese/onion filler, lf yogurt - 400 cals
snack - chocolate - 150 cals

total - 1550
exercise - non :(

woke up feeling light headed then this evening when i swallowed i got this pain in my chest through into my back & its spreading up to my throat & i have headache - not good - i seem to get these symptoms every 4-6 weeks, & end up with a bad throat - another thing to ask nurse :(
 
Tracey, I hope you don't come down with something. And I am so glad it warmed up a bit and the forecast got a bit better. Even if it does mean work for sure tomorrow!

Too funny about your dh, Dan often does things like that in his sleep. And he never remembers either!

Great job maintaining! Given the weather and the holidays, I'd say that is something to be proud of!:thumbsup2

I'm glad that the weather forecast has improved for you! :sunny: We're expecting 3-5 inches of snow in the next 24 hours. I'm not sure where that came from because it wasn't forecasted here until yesterday. :confused3 I think we should start an official countdown to spring!:thumbsup2

Monday - inset day at school so no kids in just staff, got in, meeting at 10am, head tells us inset was cancelled & person delivering it couldnt get! weather was bad again so after meeting we all got sent home!

b/fast - cereal - 250 cals
snack - banana - 100 cals
lunch - sandwich, yogurt, pineapple - 500 cals
dinner - baked potato, woth salad & salmon, lf choc mousse - 600 cals
total - 1500

felt ill, but decided to go spinning & just take it easy..... big mistake!! we did 50 mins pyramid training & i've never sweated so much in my life :scared1:

Tuesday
Finally back to work with kids!
It was nice to be in a normal routine!
Woke up & throat/head felt much better - must have sweated it out spinning!

b/fast - cereal - 250 cals
snack - banana & choc bar - 200 cals
lunch - prawn salad, lf yogurt, pineapple - 400 cals
snack - lf hot choc drink, cereal bar - 250 cals
dinner - chk/veg faghitas with home made wedges, lf choc mousse - 600 cals
total 1700 cals

exercise - gym - 700 cals

Wednesday
snow day AGAIN! well actually ICE day, we had rain in the night that froze solid when it hit the ground - the car looks like it has been cryogenically frozen, roads, pavements death traps!:scared1: DH went out to car & fell over, didnt hear from work till i was stuck in traffic taking DD to school dropped her off & got the call that were shut so went back home - loads of car/pedastrian accidents, ive never known anything like this! trains, buses, taxis have stooped running, airports shut!
SOOOO ive had 1 full day with kids in school in nearly 4 weeks!
& snow is forcast this afternoon :( Just debating whether to attempt spinning tonight will have to see....

lunch - going for now....

Hang in there! Ice is definitely worse than snow! At least with snow you can get some sort of traction, with ice, it's just a free-for-all...

Ice...ugh! My sympathies are with you! When we moved to FL, we packed up the car in Chicago without checking the weather forecast and hit a freak ice storm in Atlanta. I never prayed so hard...it still amazes me we made it in one piece (and with three cats and a bird in the car). I'm sending good thoughts for a warm up/melt for you.

Garys 83 yr old mum had a bad fall last night - her stair lift had broken & they couldnt get out to fix it (weather!) Garys half brother helped her up the stairs but when she got to the top she fell backwards all the way down :(
Luckily shes ok though - no broken bones just badly bruised - a very tough lady - who bounces well!!!

Thursday
went to work - it was positivly balmy today 2 degrees C (35 F) :laughing:
Tomorrow 4C (40F) & Sunday forcast 7C (45F):cool1: - get the BBQ out ;)

b/fast - cereal - 250 cals
snack - banana, choc bar - 200 cals
lunch - prawn salad, lf yogurt, pineapple - 500 cals
dinner - lf chk curry, WW nam bread - 500 cals

total - 1500 cals
exercise - non :(

forgot to add - i bought my universal & seaworld tix yesterday :) A very expensive snow/ice day - but done now :)
