Tracey's wedding weight loss attempt (comments welcome & needed!!)

Hi, Tracey!
Oh my goodness, your avatar picture is gorgeous!
I'm not sure whether it would be too costly to ship overseas, but you might want to check zappos.com or runningwarehouse.com to see if either has the trainers you want at a reasonable price. If you use runningwarehouse, go to team and put in WISH for the WISH team discount. If you need any other information on this, feel free to PM me.

I am right with you on being astonished that the scale doesn't move - until I look at my food lists. UGH! I am trying to be so disciplined, especially since I don't have the awesome calorie-burning gym sessions that you do. But I know I could be eating so much better than I am. Okay, chickie, let's get with it. We aren't burning all these calories just so we can eat more, right? ;)

Have a great day!

Thanks Tracy & Cam
Well i thought i was going to get away with getting hayfever as i'm usually sneezing all over the place long before now!!
5am my itchy ears & throat woke me up, took a tablet, got up at 6.30am, spent whole afternoon at school allotment (from 1.15pm - 4.30pm) & havnt stopped sneezing!! Ended up taking another tablet (only supposed to take 1 a day!)

I come home & DH & my dad decide to chop down the next door neighbours connifer trees!! The house has been empty & for sale for months & the trees where blocking a lot of light from our garden. I thought they would just take a bit off the top, i go out & they've cut it down by about 6 ft!!! (about half the original height) THEN an agent turns up with a potential buyer right in the middle of it! Piles of tree parts on their garden & DH up a ladder! DH said they seemed ok about it, but he could get a fine for taking them down without permission :(

B/fast - cereal
snack - banana, hot choc drink
lunch - cheese & pastrami roll, yogurt, strawberries
dinner - chk fatitgas & proberbly a cheese scone (think you call them biscuits!) with a cuppa

I'm afraid i didnt resist the dip :sad2:
I had some tortilla chips with it & then looked at the cals & was horrified :scared1:
At least its gone now!

Cam - thanks for the info about the trainers i will check it out, a lot of people from the UK buy trainers when they come over to the US as there soooooo much cheaper than here!

Tracy - glad its not just me with the spending bug! I'm sure i could pay for another WDW trip if i stopped buying clothes & stuff i dont really need!!!

Off to blow my nose...again!

Sorry about the hayfever. That is awful. I have it bad too and just about did myself in visiting the lake district in England years ago. It was wonderful, but all I really remember is it was one giant grass/hay field:scared1: .

I thought of your "resist the dip" post yesterday ... as I plowed through the better part of a container of onion dip. :sad2:

Funny story about DH and the neighbors trees! Seems like everyone had a good attitude about it though. hopefully there won't be a fine.

 Tracey... Hope you're feeling better soon!:goodvibes

I hear ya about dip... I love sour cream and onion dip, cheese dip, e.t.c. Add some chips and you're good to go!:thumbsup2

Hope you have a great week!

Hi Tracey! Oh yeah, hay fever is wild over here. Just that time of year!

Seems as if the cash flow issue is everywhere. In my house, the cash flows out when it needs to stay in! The summer is always crazy, with the kids home and all. But, we do eat at home more, and it is often from the outdoor grill.

Take care, and stay away from the fun weekend spots! I always work on the weekend and I am jealous! :goodvibes

Have a great week!

Wendy

Count me in on the too much spending club - unfortunately!

I'm finally catching up. I LOVE the pictures you posted. What a wonderful place!

Your workouts are really awesome. I can't imagine burning that many calories in one gym visit. You ROCK!!!!

Have a GREAT rest of the week (& weekend if I don't get back here by then!)

Hey Tracey! I hope you're feeling better. Allergies/hayfever are no fun. :headache:

Have a great weekend! :goodvibes

Wow where did the week go???

Food been ok till Friday :rolleyes1

Hayfever has been bad, even though its rained all week...again :(

Went to the Nottingham tennis open on a trip with school, had a good day :)

Friday
b/fast - croissant
lunch - cheese & pastrami sandwich (diet bread) strawberries, grapes, yogurt, small cookie bar
dinner - fish & chips (fries), shared a bottle of wine with neighbour, small ice cream cone & some very sickly chocolate that mede me feel yucky for the rest of the night!

Dh didnt get home from work till 10pm, we had major flooding in the next town due to the non stop rain! DH had to take sand bags in.
So much for having a summer, i think we had ours when we had those few weeks of sun in April!!

DH got upset today, hes worrying about money, i felt so guilty for spending yesterday (he doesnt know about the clothes) But i think this has given me the kick up the !"$%*? i need.
So new leaf turned today & we are going to look at finanaces together.
I think if i had said i would cancel the WDW trip next year he would have let me! I couldnt bring myself to do that!

Tomorrow i'm off to see a consultant about the car accident i was in (insurance sending me) so i'm kinda hoping i'll get a payment for minor injuries to make DH feel better..we'll see.

STILL raining...& now they're forcasting strong winds to go with it :sad2:

Will try & post pics of the party ;)

 Tracey~

Finances can be a tough thing sometimes. Sending lots of :wizard: :wizard: for you and Gary both.

Sounds like you have had a lot of rain out your way.... Hope the sun comes out for you soon!

Have a great week!

Didnt get to the consultant today as all roads into the town were closed due to flooding!
I have never seen weather like this & for so long too!
We tried 5 roads & all flooded!
Also had a power cut in the night so alarm didnt go off so we over layed!

It must be awefull for the thousands who are affected though :sad2:

I have been suffering dreadfully with hayfever, the medication Dr gave me doesnt seem to work at all!! My throat has closed up from all the sneezing & it has made me feel tired & headachy :( Went to bed at 9pm last night cos my eyes wouldnt stop streaming!!

Food ok, Yesterday not so good as a teacher & i had a joint party in the staff room for our birthdays - so loads of goodies ;)
I'm 41 tomorrow :(

Been lurking awhile, I really enjoy reading your journal from UK. I loved the pics! I love to read the differences in your English and our English. Being from Kentucky, even folks here in the states may debate if what we speak would qualify as English (More like Kentucky hillbilly).

Talk to you later!

Dax

Wonderfull photos tracey!

Looks like you had a great time. Hope your birthday was just as fun. My DD's birthday is today. She is 11. And, you certainly look fabuolous for our age! I am 46 on my next, but I bug DH cuz he is 50 on his!

Great looking hubby. Have a great week, and have a cup od cheer for us on the 4th!

Wendy

Hi Wendy & welcome Dax :)
Feel free to pop in any time ;)

STILL raining :(

Had a lovely birthday, its the 1st birthday that i actually enjoyed!!!
I usually get depressed on my birthday thinking ''another year older'' but i think after hitting 40 last year, i think i'm not worried about getting old as i'm there!!!

DH bought me a new mobile phone (think you call it a cell phone Dax ;)) Its pink & has tink on the screen saver - very nice.
DD bought me some bling ;)
Had 3 bouquets, perfume, smellies (bubble bath etc), money :woohoo:
& 4 bottles of wine :goodvibes & an Indian head massager - which is very cool!

Saturday night we went out for a drink & by 10.30pm i was well on my way & had enough!! So DH & I came home & ate a huge pizza with fries :sad2:

Sunday we went out for lunch with my parents & grandad, DH & DD, we went to lovely hotel for a 4 course meal & i ate TWO bread rolls WITH butter!!
Mum bought a birthday cake - it was a Disney princess cake - pretty embarrasing when they bought it out in the middle of the restaurant & everyone sang happy birthday - but i loved it :) Mum said when she bought it the lady in the shop said ''my 10 yr old DD would love that'' & mum replied ''my 41 yr old DD will love it for her birthday'' The woman couldnt stop laughing!!!
I felt soooooo full for the rest of the day! Was lovely though ;)
& i had apple & cinnoman crumble which anything flavoured with cinnamon ALWAYS reminds me of WDW & it isnt used much here!!

Monday
b/fast - cereal
lunch - cheese sandwich, yogurt
dinner - baked potato with chk pasta & cheese - didnt get to eat till 8.30pm!!

Went to gym - just did cardio - 480 cals

Those of you who have been around a while will remember the gym guy who was being VERY friendly - well he was there tonight, not seen him in a while, he said he was thinking of going to WDW next year & i said ''we are going next year'' & he said ''we'll have to go together''
He then later came over & said he'd found some $1 bills in his pocket & gave me one for luck! WHY HE HAD $$ IN THE UK I DONT KNOW!! :confused3

Off to bed!!

Happy Birthday Tracey!!!:cool1:  :dance3: I'm glad to hear that you had a wonderful birthday.:goodvibes

The photos are great! You all look wonderful!princess:

Have a great week!

I'm excited about going but scared about leaving DD (she cannot wait for me to go so she can stay with her grandparents) & about flying - especially with all the news stuff going off over here :worried:

Monday
b/fast - cereal
lunch - chk salad, yogurt, grapes
dinner - spagetti bolognase (wholewheat spagetti & quorn mince)

STILL RAINING :sad2:
