Hi Tracey, love the pictures, esp the one with you having a cup of tea in bed! That is my idea of heaven! Your food for Monday and Tuesday looks good, way to go getting right back on track after the weekend. Hope mil is feeling better each day!
 
Wow, so much has gone on since I've been on my trip! Sorry to hear about your MIL, I hope she is doing better. I'm sure you'll see an improvement every day, that is what happened with my grandmother when she had a stroke a couple years ago.

When I was in the UK I got completely addicted to scones with clotted cream! I am so jealous you got homemade ones... I miss having my "cream tea" in the afternoons... :sad1: I also love your tea, I brought back a huge box of PG, I love that stuff!

You are doing awesome with your workouts, and I love all the photos! Especially of the party, what a fun time!! :thumbsup2

I LOVE scones! Too bad they can't be gluten free. Altho DH says he can figure out a way to make them. I would love to have some for DD's party!

Hey Tracey. I'm glad your MIL is doing better. :hug: I hope your DH is doing so as well. It takes such a toll on us when our moms are sick. I know I personally rely on my mom WAY too much.

You're looking GREAT in those 70's pics. I totally saw you as Beyonce!! (love that move :goodvibes ). And Wensleydale looks amazing!! I could stay in that bed for weeks!! :cloud9:

Keep up the great work! And running 20 minutes on the treadmill is AWESOME!! :cool1:

Friday
Went to a local church with school today, i got to play the organ & ring the church bells!!! Found that pretty cool!
Our guide was called Ken & he ran the London marathon last year & is doing a 1/2 marathon next month....he's 62 years old!!
My lunch box went missing (i had eaten most of the food in it before it got lost!), so his wife made me a cup of tea & gave me a plate of chocolate biscuits (cookies!) They were such nice people, i got to write a prayer for DMIL too :)

B/fast - cereal
lunch - sandwich, chocolate bar, muffin, sausage roll, plate of choccy biscuits :rolleyes1
dinner - fries topped with cheese & mayo

Went to gym :goodvibes
Upped TM to 22 mins & did it :banana:
Burnt 800 cals :thumbsup2

saturday
b/fast - cereal
lunch - bacon sandwich (cut the fat off)
dinner - 4 crispbreads, yogurt....1/2 chk burger & fries (shared with DH in pub)

Went to a comedy club in Nottingham, i got sooooo drunk :sad2:
One minute i was ok the next i was seeing double & thought oh dear!!
TOM had arrived yesterday & wine + pmt was not a good idea, DH & i had words due to me turning into a drunk psyco (SP!) woman!!

Sunday
Didnt make gym - too ill & tired!
Apologised to DH for turning psyco on him!

b/fast - cereal
lunch - wholeweat pasta with tuna & tomato & cheese
dinner - having cheese & ham roll

Off on another school trip tomorrow to a local theme park for younger children, looking forward to that :)

MIL doing ok, she has aphasia dyspraxia, which means she has trouble with comprehention & understanding as well as speech difficulties, we are just hoping that she will improve :hug:

Oh Tracey, I love your posts! Drunk pyscho, can I relate to that or what? Sometimes when I am with my three girlfriends during our family get togethers its just amazing the things we say and do, while our husbands and kids look on in amazement! Take Alka Seltzer after you drink so much, works everytime! And I outta know! That sounds like a fun trip with your school, glad you got to ring the bells!

I will really keep your mil in my prayers. Sounds like there is alot to be thankful for but a lot of improvement still needed. Hang in there!

School trip was fun :) Weather lovely. The teacher who's a pain stressed a bit but i didnt let her get to me or spoil our day!

B/fast - cereal
lunch - ham & cheese roll, yogurt, choc bar, dohnut :rolleyes1
Dinner - cant remember now, but i dont think it was too bad!!

Didnt go to gym, too tired after trip!
Went to hospital to see DMIL, DH is finding it hard, sometimes she doesnt seem to know him & he misses being able to have a conversation with her (speech still poor, understanding even poorer) Still shes happy, & it could have been a lot worse.

Tuesday

lunch - ham & cheese roll, yogurt
Dinner - baked potato with chk, bacon & cheese filler

Went to gym :cool1:
New record on cals burnt in one session - 880 cals :yay:
Just wish the scales would move.....

Its raining hard & its forcast up till Sunday :(

DMIL went for a home visit today, she cried when she went home, they are putting in some hand rails for her & then she can come home :goodvibes

My savings have gone to pot!! There going down instead of up! I really need to get back on track & stop spending.

Tracey, glad you made it thru the weekend. We were off on a short holiday, and all was wonderful. Was a bit out of it the first day, as I worked all night before we left. The other 2 days were great.

I am sending warm wishes and big hugs to you and your DH to help with DMIL. It is so hard when the communication starts to fall apart.

Take care and keep up the great job on keeping on track (one night of drunken psycho-ness included :goodvibes ) and have a great week!

Hi Tracey, I saw your new avatar, that looks like a lovely place to go you lucky woman! So sorry that your mil's condition is so hard on dh. Not at all surprising, that is so stressful and lets face it, men have a hard time dealing with these things. You are a good wife and daughter in law and it sounds like you are holding it together. I really hope and pray she continues to improve. As you say, it could have been worse. Hang in there!

OMG, over 800 calories burned in one workout, that is incredible! And your food looks great, so you are doing really well. Good for you!

I love all the trips your school takes. That is so great for the kids to have so many different experiences.

Didnt feel like gym so i went & swam - did 40 lengths & then sat in jaquizzi, met an old work collegue in the jaquizzi so spent ages chilling & talking - i almost cooked!!!

Busy day!
Went to gym in morning, come home had lunch, went food shopping, went to a new supermarket to look at clothes, bought a dress (so much for being good with my spending!!), went to a sports outlet to get DBIL something for his birthday, i bought some new trainers for gym (spending again :sad2: )
I wanted some really good running ones but they were soooo expensive $160 - $200 & that was discounted!!! So i found some the same make (sketchers) as what i'm wearing now for about $50, will have to save up for the others :(

Called in at garden centre on way home, arrived home 5 mins before my parents arrived for dinner!! Quickly packed shopping away & prepared dinner!

Got my dad a Clive Cussler novel for fathers day - had no wrapping paper so i had to put it in a Christmas bag! His card didnt have an envelope either!! :sad2: Got DH some beer with a nice glass & a card with a key ring that says 'best dad in the world' from DD!
DH has gone to visit his mum in hospital & i'm supposed to be ironing!!!
I'm shattered!

lunch - wholemeal pasta with grilled peppers & chilli & corriander pesto
dinner - cheese & pastrami roll, piece of walnut cake, 2 cups of earl grey, 1 malibu & diet coke

I have dip in the fridge...i ...must... resist .. the ...dip!!
 
I right there with ya about the food thing and the shopping.:hug: Are we WISH sisters or what? ;) I just told my DH that we really need to tighten our belts financially and then we spent $100 at the grocery store yesterday that we weren't planning to spend.:eek:
