Tracey's wedding weight loss attempt (comments welcome & needed!!)

Thanks guys :goodvibes
Just a quickie as i'm taking DD to gym, where going in the pool for a swim, then i think we will have lunch their & go & see my parents & my grandad!

Went to doc
me: - bad head could be due to stress on top of TOM & a virus!!! Thats basically what i thought, i feel aweful in the morning but seem to be ok by late morning! :confused3
DD & i have not been getting along too well the last few weeks, every conversation seems to turn into an argument, the joys of pre-teens i suppose :confused3 & i think it all coming as we broke up from school didnt help, i've been running around for weeks & then just stop, i think it hits you then!!
DD:- Her arm is just strained, its the elbow joint, after she fell on it she went to sleep not long after & i think it ceased the muscle up, doc basically told her what i've been telling her & how to ease it...now she believes me:headache: & amazingly her arm is much better today  sigh...
But i'm glad it was nothing serious so thats a relief!

Food yesterday
b/fast - croissant, earl grey
lunch - 3 crispbreads with cheese & onion sandwich filler, yogurt, small cake
dinner - i tryed to be creative!! stir fried spinach, m/rooms, tomatos, chillies & green beans & added cream served it with pork chops. was ok but i think i would have preffered it without the cream! 1 pancake with sugar free maple syrup & a dollop of choc chip ice cream

Tracy, lovinaz, Amy & goldcup mum - Sorry for teasing you all with the cheesecake, it was much better than wedding cake ;) Thanks for being so supportive on my journal :grouphug:

Cam - thanks for the info, i do x trainer & stepper before tm & do a couple of stretches before i start. i then do 3 mins walk on '2' incline 3 min jog, 3 min walk again, 3 min jog & 3 min walk to finish (total 15 mins) I will slow down my pace although it doesnt feel that fast! 5.5 is about the fastest you can walk before jogging & thats the pace i walk at on the incline, i might slow that down a bit too! Thanks for the advice

So much for being a quickie!! I will catch up with you all later :grouphug:

Stir fry AND a pancake? Now that's quite a combo!! Great job trying something new, it's easy to get stuck in a food rut.

You are doing awesome at the gym! :cheer2:

I'm glad everyone got the "nothing serious" diagnosis from the Dr.

Your pictures are lovely - both of DD & the view and the cheesecake :thumbsup2 . Glad nothing serious was up with DD's arm and your head too. Your workouts are amazing and great job trying out some new foods ideas too!

Pre-teen girls:scared: . I feel your pain as I'm going through it with both DD's right now. Most of the time it is DD11 and I butting heads. But anytime it seems to get better, then DD12 starts up. Of course, then you throw in the 3year old tantrums. Is it any wonder I need a glass of wine at the end of the day? All I can say, is our mothers made it through with us and survived to tell about it:scared: . Hang in there!

Sweetie -- Hang in there with DD. It is a long, thrilling ride through the teen years. Just cherish the good moments and have selective amnesia about the rough moments. Everyone will come through just fine on the other end! :lmao: Of course, that is easy for me to say at the moment with DD18 off at college -- ignorance can be bliss if you let it! :rotfl:
Glad to hear the doctor didn't find anything long-lasting wrong with DD's arm. Here's pixiedust: and :goodvibes: for you feeling back to 100% very soon.
Oh, and your foods always sound so tempting, even if I don't know precisely what they are! ;) But now you have me craving pork chops! Yesterday was Ash Wednesday so I had soy burgers for dinner and no meat and still haven't had any kind of meat today and I think my body is loving your idea of stir fry with pork! :)
Have a great night!

Good afternoon wish friends (& i've just got dressed!!)
Still coughing & feeling rough & my week off is almost over :(

Had a good day yesterday, took DD to gym to swim did quite a few lengths (sorry didnt keep count) & i went in the steam room to try & ease my chest/throat/bad head/ cough!!! We then had lunch their & i used a half price voucher they had given me when i joined :)
Went back to the gym in the evening with my friend & worked out :goodvibes
Then used a free 6 min sunbed voucher i also had :) nice to feel warm :lmao:
WI at gym 77.6 kg same as last week, i'm ok with that as food was bad at weekend!! On my scale at home i lost TOM weight & I tried my 'thin' trousers on & they fit good - even seem looser on the thighs :)
My friend had gained (78.2) & shes doing WW's!!!! although she hasnt worked out as much as me & i think she went off plan a bit last week. She says shes motivated now :)

Gary seemed really down yesterday when i left for the gym, i'm worried he's feeling 'left out' he did say he didnt feel well sounds like he's caught my bug!
But still i intend to give him lots of love & attention tonight ;)
(DD at her dads!) we might go out if he feels ok.

Food yesterday
b/fast - croissant earl grey
lunch - (at gym) lasagne, salad & fries
dinner - spinach & ham omlette, strawberries

Today
b/fast - apple & cinnamon nut cluster cereal, earl grey
lunch - just off to have - crispbread with cheese & onion filler, yogurt & proberbly small cake :sad2:
dinner - not sure yet, if we dont go out it may be chinese :sad2:

Cam - i like the selective amnesia idea with DD :thumbsup2
It was nice to have a good day yesterday :)

CAcrusin - How an earth do you manage it with 2 of them!!! I shouldnt complain!!! I'm just dreading when TOM appears for DD, it will get worse then :sad2:

lovinaz - i didnt have the pancake with the stir fry - it was dessert :lmao:

Hope everyone has a super weekend :goodvibes

Gee, Tracey, do we think alike??? My head/chest cold is worse today, but my plan since before I got out of bed was to go to the gym, swim a few laps & hit the steam room.

Glad DDs arm is just a strain. So hard to tell on these kids. Attitude, Arguing??? Guess she really is almost a teenager!!

Have a great weekend! Hope you get better & Gary doesn't get much worse!

I hope everyone starts feeling better soon. pixiedust:

Wow, a gym that serves lunch? That would be my downfall... You are doing great, and it shows with the looser pants! :cheer2:

Maybe your DH can join the gym with you if he is feeling left out?

So glad Leann's arm is just a strain. And the preteen years are tough, just a preview of things to come for us moms! I hope your cold eases up soon and that dh doesn't end up coming down with it, for his sake as well as yours. We all know men are babies!:lmao:

Have a great weekend and congrats on fitting into those skinny pants! Makes all the hard work you have been doing very much worth the effort!

 Tracey~

I hope you are feeling better soon. Please be sure and take it easy this weekend and spend lots of quality time (ahem!;) ) with your DH.

Take good care of you!

Hi Wish friends
We ended up going out with our neighbours for a few drinks last night....
ended up having 2 large wines, 2 ciders, 1 diet coke, sausage & fries & got to bed at 1am!!!!
Still it was a good night ;)

food today
b/fast - apple & cinnamon nut cluster cereal, earl grey
lunch - cheese & ham cheese topped roll, yogurt, largish chco chip muffin
snack - small choc bar
dinner - having a chinese :sad2:
So not really a good day food wise, BUT back at gym tomorrow & Monday & pilates Tuesday :)

Tracy - we had our (ahem) quality time ;)

Amy - i was thinking the same thing i just know if DH gets ill it will be much much worse :sad2: touch wood he doesnt seem too bad today!

lovinaz - I do have quite a few guest passes for gym but DH doesnt seem that keen! The gym has a lovely good priced cafe/restaurant. i wish they had a web site, i will try & take pics if they let me!

goldcupmom - i thought exactly the same thing when i read your journal!!!

Hope everyone is having a good weekend :grouphug:

I am going to have to try some cider when I go there next time (I know I'll be there for at least a week in May). Is it something all the pubs serve? I don't like beer and I prefer sweet white wines (which are apparently not too popular in the UK!). You'll have to educate me on how to get my cocktail fix!!

Great job getting to the gym so often, you are getting into awesome shape!

Hey Tracey! I thought it was about time I stopped by YOUR journal, since you're so good about posting on mine! :goodvibes

Sounds like we both "tied one on" last night and stayed out late!

Have a wonderful weekend!!

Hi friends :grouphug:
I had my chinese Staurday night :sad2:
1 bag of prawn crackers with chilli dip
chinese chk curry with egg fried rice
4 pieces of prawn toast
8 squares of milk chocolate...i did leave my veg spring roll :rolleyes1

Sunday
Went to the gym  needed to work off that chinese!!
I think i got chatted up!!! When i took DD their the other day, i got talking to a guy in the steam room, who had 2 DD's in the pool, talked about general stuff & i left
Went to gym Sunday, in the middle of my floor exercises he comes over & crouches down to talk,I say hi i didnt recognise you, he says what with my clothes on (& laughs) asks me where DD is, how often i come, where i work, whats my name etc, etc
I met my friend in the steam room (hoping to try & ease this stupid cough/cold!) & tell her what happened, she thinks its funny to wind me up!! He could just be being friendly but i'm always suspicious!! I did manage to work into the conversation that i had a DH! Still it was good for my ego as i was feeling reallly ill, no make up & hot & sweaty (not in a nice way;)) It reminds of the episode on 'home improvement' when Tims wife Gill met a guy at the gym!! I love that show, & DH & I are always laughing how similiar the episodes can be to our life!!!

b/fast - nothing still stuffed with chinese food!
lunch - ahhh well - i made peppered mackeral & salad, but the mackeral was awefull - full of bones, so that ended up in the bin & i just ate salad, then had 2 crispbreads with cheese & onion filler & a yogurt!!
dinner - cheese & ham roll, large choc chip muffin, yogurt

Monday
Back to work!
I had been roped into going on a course today as the other TA who was supposed to go couldnt make it, i was told it was basically just show up, well it turns out its gonna be loads of extra work!! - assessing kids, planning (they want me to have a whole day just to plan!! that will go down well with the principle!), making resources & delivering a narrative programme over 8 weeks!! I really dont know how i'm gonna fit it in on top of supporting literacy, gathering resources for general lessons, brain gym & spending every afternoon at the school allotment with different year groups!! :scared1:
Something will have to give!

AND I'm still feeling ill :sad2:
But did make the gym  Saw my 'new gentleman friend' ;) had a nice chat, hes a homicide detective - think CSI!!! plus a guy i used to date many years ago, plus a guy who i used to want to date many years ago!!! DH is looking a little worried, but he knows hes the only man for me

b/fast - croissant, earl grey
snack - 3 choc covered biscuits :sad2:
lunch - cheese & ham roll, yogurt, small cake, 4 chocolates (someones b/day :sad2: )
dinner - spicy cajun chk wholemeal fatitas (SP??) with cheese, red peppers, m/room & red onion yummy :)

DD isnt back to school till Wednesday so shes at my parents last night & tonight, boy its quiet!!

Kim - thanks for stopping by, i really appreciate it

lovinaz - oh yes cider is very readily available in the UK ask for 'strongbow' or if they dont have that 'scrumpy jack' I was gutted when we went to wdw & i could hardly find any!! who am i kidding - i was in wdw...i was gutted to come home!!!

Look at you! You are such a regular at the gym you have your own fan club!! That is pretty flattering (assuming this guy is easy on the eyes!!).

I wrote down the cider "code words" and will definitely order it next time I am there! How strong is it (is it along the same lines as wine?)? I don't want to accidentally become a total drunken idiot in front of my boss, who will be going with me...

I hope you are feeling better soon! It certainly doesn't help that you have extra work to do on your first day back! It's hard enough getting back into the routine after a week off without dealing with all that stuff!

First day back is always tough! Glad you had a fun weekend to prepare yourself for it anyway!

I hope you're on the mend. I wonder if somehow we're all sharing germs through cyberspace????? Seems many of us are ill.

I can't believe how WONDERFUL you are about going to the gym! I need your ambition! (or maybe an admirer????)

Have a totally AWESOME Tuesday!! And get better!

Well a little male appreciation is never a bad thing! I am getting a vision of some very good looking dark haired cop following you around your gym! It sounds like you had a fun weekend, worked out and did well overall. That gym is really making a difference with you, that is great!

Hi Tracey~

You are doing a great job getting to the gym so much! :thumbsup2 How are you feeling today? I hope you are feeling better!

Have a great day today!:cool1:

Hi guys
Feeling slightly better today when i woke up - not as chesty, but still keep coughing & having trouble getting to sleep :sad2:

b/fast - croissant, earl grey
snack - hot choc drink, very small chocolate
lunch - chinese chk salad, yogurt
dinner - 4 crispbreads with cheese & onion filler!

I went to a bums & tums exercise class tonight (not at my gym) with some work friends, it was reall good & i can already feel it!! We did some aerobics with weights & some work with those big balls! will definatly go back next week.
I got home at 5.30pm wolfed down the crispbreads & then headed off to the gym for a 6.30pm pilates class with my friend!! I'm turning into an exercise mad machine!!!
Found the pilates a bit boring, i didnt feel like it was doing anything, & i couldnt stop coughing cos of the breathing i had to do! i would have much sooner been buring calories on the tm or stepper, i told my friend she has to do a class that i pick next ;) hee hee

It was certainly worth joining this gym :) Cant wait to go back on Thursday :goodvibes

Tracy - feeling a bit better, i need pixiedust!!!
Amy - the cop guy is tall, dark haired & scottish!! With a big tatoo of a cross on his arm!!
Julie - i was wondering the same thing about cyber germs :confused3 who knows :lmao:
lovinaz - the cider is a dry cider, but it very cold (if you go to a good pub!) & refreshing, nothing better on a hot summers day :cloud9: I like dry wine & it doesnt taste as strong as that too me & more sweet too.

Off to try & resist any food - if i do i will class today as a good food day :goodvibes

WOW, you're really doing GREAT with the workouts! :cool1:

I need to find time to get mine in again. Enough excuses. You've inspired me!

A Scottish cop?? Sounds like the brothers I met in the lobby of Don Cesar this summer!

You're a workout wonder, Tracey! That new gym has been truly an inspiration to you!

Hope that cough keeps getting better, that's miserable!

have a great Wednesday!
