Tracey's wedding weight loss attempt (comments welcome & needed!!)

Well i'll try AGAIN to post this on my useless computer!!!

I wasnt great with food when DB came over Sunday but i didnt drink (the sausage rolls were saved Amy ;))

Monday
didnt do gym but went shopping with DD - we did two 25 min walks there & back as well as spending a few hours shopping
DD especially needed trainers (sneakers) & jeans - she came home with combats & a top!!!
I got a nice dress too :)

B/fast - cereal
lunch - cheese & ham baguette
dinner - cheese & bacon pasta bake, small choc bar

Tuesday
got a call from hairdressers - i had tried to make an appointment last week & couldnt get in till April!!! They got a cancellation so off i went :)
I've had it more shaped around my face - i like it :)
Cost £45 ($90) :scared1:
I had a treatment & head massage but didnt realise it would bump the price up sooo much !!!

So now i have a dilema!....i was going to go to the gym, but i dont want to spoil my new hairdo as i sweat alot around my scalp when i work out & it never looks as good after i wash & style it!!!

b/fast - cereal
lunch - 5 crispbreads, yogurt, small cake
dinner - having sausage casserole with baked potato!

Had a couple of texts from my friend who is in Florida right now - shes been to the new water park Aquatica & says its great, shes bringing me a park map back......bless her :)
 
I didnt go to the gym yesterday - apart from not wanting to spoil my new hairdo i forgot to mention i had pulled a tendon in my left shoulder & it was really hurting so got DH to massage it ;)

Wednesday
mums coming over at 11am i'm hoping she will take DD back to her house & i will go to gym.

Never apologize for saving the hair do! If I paid that much to have my hair done I would deep freeze my head to preserve it. You can work out another day and its best to rest that tendon anyhow.

Well done for not drinking during the sausage roll party! Frankly, if I can avoid alcohol, I always feel quite proud. :rotfl2:

b/fast - cereal
lunch - crispbread, yogurt
dinner - 1/2 pizza & fries - was quite a small portion....but then i talked DH into going & buying some dip - ate the whole tub :sad2:

Went to gym - but it was really tough, i've been doing a mix on the TM jogging & incline walking for 25 - 30 mins - i couldnt even jog for 2 mins!!! i just felt so weak & heavy!!! did a few weights & stepper
Good news is i di burn 400 cals which was more than i thought i'd done!!

Thursday
DD going ice skating so i'm gonna swim at gym :)
food later!

Been pricing wdw hols up for next August :scared1:
I did find last 2 week August in Coronado Springs, with flights for about £2,800 ($5000)
better see if i can cope with August weather this time first!!!

went for a swim at gym i did really well - i dont count lengths but swam for about 25 mins so guessing over 20 :)

lunch - 3 crispbreads, yogurt
dinner - big piece of quiche, boiled potatos, pasta - must watch those portion sizes :sad2: choc bar :rolleyes1

Friday
been out to buy DH's mom a new tv
Went to pizza hut for lunch :sad2:
Weigh in - no change :(

b/fast - cereal
lunch - individual meat pizza (thin crust) & salad
dinner - not sure yet - not a lot!!!!

Hoping to go to gym but got to wait till DH gets back from installing his moms new tv!

DD having 2 friends over for a sleepover tonight!

Thanks Tracy :hug: the sleep over was tiring!! 3 teenage girls giggling till gone 1am - i was not pleased!!! i like my sleep ;)

didnt get to gym yesterday DH didntr get back in time, the new tv DH's mom had didnt work!! so hes had to take it back today :(

dinner yesterday was 2 small cheese & pastrami rolls, yogurt, 6 large chunky fries & 3 glasses of wine!!! weird i know!

Saturday
made sure i got to gym before DH dissapeared with the car again!!!

DD is in a choir concert tonight so will go & watch that :)

You're doing really great with your gym workouts! How's your shoulder feeling? You're sure doing a lot with an injury!

Hope DD's concert went well. I hope my DD goes into a choir when she gets a little older. I think she'd really enjoy that. (and I would too ;) )

We're going to Aquatica when we are in Orlando in May (adult trip :woohoo: ). Any chance your friend could pick me up a map too? I'll send you $$ for shipping. :upsidedow If not, maybe you could scan yours for me? I'd love to see it all layed out before we go.

Is it this August that you're going to WDW? If so, what dates? We'll be there August 23rd - September 3rd. :thumbsup2

Kim - my friend has moved onto Miami now so she wont be able to get you a map :( we dont have a scanner & not good at using one!! but i'll see if i can do it at work! She doesnt get back till early April though.
We fly home on the 24th (late afternoon) & will be at Universals Royal Pacific Hotel, if your passing we could have a quick mini meet :)
Shoulder is ok now thanks - think it was muscular, only lasted a couple of days :)

Dinner on Saturday was baked potato with scampi.....then i had a whole tub of dip AGAIN Arghhhh

lunch - roast beef etc, followed by my lovely dark chocolate easter egg DH bought me ;)
dinner - going to DB's house - at least i'm driving so no alcohol involved!!

DH is out in the garden (its freezing!!) starting the decking area - it looks like a bomb site at the moment! :scared1:
Off to dish up dinner :) - Hapy Easter :)
 
Hi Tracey, Happy Easter to you too! We had snow too, what is up with that? I guess with Easter being so early this year, its just barely spring, but still.:rolleyes: . That is great you did some swimming, that really gives the whole body a workout. You are doing really well with your food and exercising. You had some dip, so what? You need a splurge now and again. I hope you enjoyed every last bite! New week is upon us! Good job already starting your planning for August 2009. Coronado Springs is lovely!

had my roast beef lunch & some dark chocolate easter egg & all of a sudden i felt like a bloated whale!!!!
Went to DB's & they had done loads of food!!!
I had 1 cheese & ham roll, a slice of pizza, 1 sausage roll, lots of dip :sad2:
& some homemade cheesecake!
I felt aweful, woke up at 1am with bad stomach ache & am still getting it now!!!
I didnt eat THAT much!!! but my body totally reacted in a bad way as soon as i ate my dinner !!

Monday
Went to gym - i felt so tired & week but made myself go & swim - did at least 40 lengths :)
& felt better for it!
gonna go & work out tomorrow too!

b/fast - cereal
lunch - 1 cheese & ham roll, yogurt, little bit of left over easter egg!
dinner - gonna have an omlette!

Amy - glad you survived Easter :hug: i agree a splurge now & again is ok BUT my splurges are getting too often!!!
Would love to try Coronado, am hoping the claim for my car accident happens & maybe then i would be able to book it !!! not holding my breath on that though!!!

Tracey, thats actually a good thing that you have been treating your body so well that when you have a big meal it does you in! Thats progress my dear! Easter is just sheer torture for me with all that chocolate! Hope the claim comes through, Coronado is lovely but I also love the values. As long as I am at WDW, I don't care where I stay! Good job working out again, you are really doing super with that. Keep that up and you'll be buying smaller sizes by summer!

Tracey -- Good job on getting the gym even when you don't feel like it. Sounds like you had a nice Easter, though I'm sorry it was so cold. Dip is definitely a problem for me, too. I realized last night that for as long as I have no willpower, certain foods should not be in my house. :rolleyes1:

Spring is coming, my dear! And all that swimming and your other gym workouts are really going to make you feel so much better when it is time to bare skin. ;) Keep up the great work! I am going to be checking back here for inspiration! :hug:

Tuesday
went to gym, had a pretty good work out :)
i've had a couple of sunbed sessions too, & feel thinner just having some colour!!!

b/fast - cereal
lunch - crispbreads, yogurt
dinner - gammon in cheese sauce with baked potato - & cheese (i love cheese :cloud9: ...as well as dip!)

DH went to see his mom in the evening so i ate ANOTHER tub of dip (that was meant for him) i didnt tell him & when he came home he made me a cup of tea & a mars bar (largish choc bar!) :scared1:
where was my will power?? i kept looking at the mars bar thinking i shouldnt eat that...but i did :confused3
so i think i cancelled out my workout!!!
& i still havnt told DH about the dip :sad2:

Wednesday
took grandad out for lunch...well it ended up him taking me as he wouldnt let me pay!
It was nice to spend some time together on our own :goodvibes
I then called in to see mom & dad & talked about WDW :goodvibes

b/fast - cereal
lunch - scampi & fries, apple pie & cream
dinner - crispbreads, yogurt

DH is going to neighbours to watch England play football with her DH
Paula & her DD are coming here & we're gonna watch a movie & have a girlie night :)

need to get to gym tomorrow & work off the dip, mars bar & apple pie :scared1:

Tracy - funds wont let me book wdw 2009, i'm just dreaming for the moment!
but enjoying planning this years trip :goodvibes ordered our tickets & got some dollars yesterday :)

Amy - do you really think my bodies healthier & thats why the meal did me in??...or are you just being extra nice ;)
honestly the meal wasnt that big!!!

Cam - i'm flattered that i inspire you - do i really????? it kinda inspires me back to keep going...does that make sense??

Beth - looks like a few of us have a dip problem...we should start some sort of support group...any ideas??? ;)
