Tracey's wedding weight loss attempt (comments welcome & needed!!)

Tracey,

Loved the pictures, of your grandmother in particular! Go see the medium! I have actually just gone to one this week and it was amazing. She is a Christian so no scary, occultish type things and it really brought me some comfort. For example my mother could not raise her left arm due to her cancer issues. It was a very painful thing and it drove her nuts! As soon as I sat down this woman told me "your mother is raising both of her arms to show you she can do this". I about fell off the couch. Also she told me things only my mother could have known to tell her. So while I don't always go in for things like that I do believe that with the right type of person you can find a lot of comfort from "the other side" so to speak. Just go with an open mind and you might be surprised.

I hope you are feeling better, that stinks about your daughter not winning the show but it sounds like she is doing well with the whole thing and moving onto next year! So that is good.

YOu will get back to the gym, just keep up your efforts and it will all pay off and happen.

Love your dining plans for WDW!:woohoo:

I finally made it to the gym :cheer2:
Felt almost human today!!

I've come to the conclusion that i'm doing too much at the gym...when i go!
& that is what might be putting me off - after a day at work the thought of working out for 2 hrs doesnt appeal
So now i'm gonna try & limit myself to no more than 1 hr a day training & going every day except the days i walk to work!
What da ya think??
plucked up the courage to get on the scales..gained another 3 lb's :(
i was 11 stone 7 lb's (162 lb's) last year
now i'm 12 st 11 lb's (180 lb 'S) :scared:

Saturday
b/fast - cereal
lunch - 4 crispbreads choc bar yogurt
dinner - chk curry, 1/2 a nam bread, 1 pint cider & a whole tub of dip :sad2:

Sunday
b/fast - cereal
lunch - tuna & tomato pasta
dinner - proberbly crispbreads

Tracey, excellent job getting to the gym!! Don't worry about the scale, you could be much higher, just get back on track and that weight will come off.

I think you have come up with an excellent plan for working out! Given your hectic life with work and family, two hours at the gym is probably not feasbile very often. Even a half hour is better than nothing, an hour is awesome. I'll bet with this new theory of yours, you'll be surprised at how much more you go. Its all about doing what works within your life. I really think you can do this and that you will!

Hope your week is a good one, keep up the good work!

Glad you're feeling better & you made it to the gym. As Tracy would say....baby steps!!!

Love the pics of the house! Your grandma looks like a sweetie!!!

Have a good week!!

 Tracey,

I love the pictures of the house and Grandma. I LOVE your duvet. I am sorry that DD didn't win, but it sounds like the girls had a blast. I hear you about the costumes. My DD's dance company had a competition this weekend. My girlfriend emailed me some pics of some oof the other company's costumes. MY DD will never be dressed as qa prostitiute. It is outrageous.

Great job getting back to the gym. You plan sounds reasonable, and I KNOW you can do it.

Take care,
Beth

Monday
b/fast - cereal
lunch - cheese & ham roll, yogurt, strawberries
dinner - quiche, baked potato, pasta, shared 1/2 choc bar with DH

walked to work & back (total 50 mins) :)

Tuesday
woke up with sore throat & bad head back :(
b/fast - cereal
lunch - chk salad, yogurt, strawberries & grapes
dinner - vegetable lasagne, wedges

Didnt make gym as i felt lousy!!

I was in a car accident last year - guys fault he pulled out on me, he totally accepted responsibilty, now denying it ever happened, so i might have to go to court for the claim i have :headache:

What with the guy who punched DH ''getting away with it'' & now this..i'm pretty

ah well a new day tomorrow........

That really stinks about the guy & the accident, Tracey. I find it really appalling that honest people continue to get 'screwed' (can I say that here or will I get bleeped??) and the dishonest keep coming out on top.

I'm hoping you don't have to go to court to get it all ironed out.

Are you feeling any better with the head thing? I have it, too! Cybergerms???????

Hope tomorrow is better!

ah well a new day tomorrow........

never a true word said!!!!

MUM & DAD ARE COMING TO WDW :cool1: :dance3: :yay:

They managed to get a reasonable flight, they fly out 2 days before us but come home a week earlier (we are doing 3 weeks they're doing 2)

I've got to call WDW dining & see if i can change all my ressies from 3 people to 5, what do you think my chances are???

The other weird & wacky thing that happened was we had an earthquake at 1am this morning!!!:scared1:
We dont get earthquakes in the UK !!!!!
had a few earth tremors can remeber two tiny ones in my lifetime but this was 5.3 on the scale!!!! I woke up & the bed was shaking, i kicked Gary cos i thought it was him dreaming at first :lmao:
Then i thought our new house was falling down!! :scared1:
its all over the news today - luckily no one injured or killed

We have a standing joke in our house that DD could sleep through an earthquake.....and she did :rotfl: shes gutted she missed it!

Feeling more human today just got a runny nose, not gone to gym as i had to sort banking out & i thought i'd make sure i'm 100%

b/fast - cereal
lunch - chk salad, yogurt, pineapple
dinner - not sure yet!!

You had an Earthquake??? Hmmmmm.......must be global warming!!! :lmao: (sorry, couldn't resist)

I'm so happy your mum & dad get to do WDW with you. That's AWESOME!!!!! Hoping & praying that you can easily add them to your dining. I would think it would be easy, but you never know!

Glad the head is better. Have a GREAT Wednesday & remember, when the ground trembles, go stand in a doorway!

You had an Earthquake??? Hmmmmm.......must be global warming!!! :lmao: (sorry, couldn't resist)

i thought the same thing Julie :lmao:

I will stand in the doorway if i can get gary off me next time...he was a complete wimp & grabbed hold of me :rotfl:

That really stinks about car accident moron now claiming it didn't happen. What an idiot. Maybe he can hit the guy who hit Gary next time he gets into an accident! Very weird about the earthquake, must have been scary! I am not surprised Gary hung onto you, men aren't so tough are they!! Don't worry about the gym, you are sick and need to recover from that. Your food looks good.

You should be able to change your adr's. You may have to tweak a few times but you are still pretty far out. And that is so awesome your parents are coming! WDW is so much better when you share it with the ones you love. Good luck, may the ADR fairy smile on you!

Oh my goodness, Tracey! When I heard about the earthquake in the UK, I immediately thought of you and your family. I'm glad to hear that you are all okay.:grouphug:

That is great news that your mum and dad are going to WDW with you!:cool1:  :yay: :woohoo: :dance3: :cheer2: That will make your trip even more fun!:thumbsup2

I hope you're feeling better soon.:wizard: Take good care of you!

managed to add mum & dad to all the ADR's except one so i'm happy with that :)
Their confirmation came today & dad rang me so excited :)

I was really ill yesterday :(
This head cold type thing or whatever it is keeps lurking then coming out full force then lurking again!!!!
I walked to work yesterday - perhaps shouldnt have done that when i felt so ill, got to work & got bombarded with loads of stuff to do & i just burst into tears!!!
I stuck the day out then came home & ate fish & chips 1/2 bottle of wine & a fresh cream apple turnover!!!
needless to say STILL not been back to gym :(

Feel more human today - slept till 10am :cloud9:

First we get an earthquake & last night felt like a hurricane!!
Rain & VERY strong winds!! It kept me awake half the night - it was quite scary

Been to a garden centre & bought some plants for the patio :)

Its Mothers Day here tomorrow, so i'm having breakfast in bed & were going to the local (again!!) for a carvery with mum & dad

food ok apart from the stuff i already mentioned last night!!!
Hope everyone has a great weekend :)

Happy Mother's Day, Tracey!:flower3:

That is wonderful that you were able to add your parents to your ADRs!! I bet everyone is so excited!

I hope you're feeling better, sweetie. Please be sure and take it easy.

Have a wonderful week ahead!

I'm pretty fed up!!!
eaten loads of c~*#p this weekend and STILL feeling ill :headache:

Saturday night - curry followed by ANOTHER whole tub of dip!
Sunday - HUGE carvery dinner

NO GYM :(
I feel like i'm in self destruct mode!!!
I need to snap out of it NOW!!!

Mothers day was nice, DD made me breakfast in bed & her & DH bought me a lovely perfume set :)
Went out for the carvery with DH DD & my mum & dad
But i felt soooo bloated afterwards!!!

I did walk to work today but the sad thing is i could tell how over weight & unfit i'm getting, i was feeling out of breath so quickly.
If i'm not carefull this is going to effect my health!
I woke up this morning to the horrible bad headache again & i've had it all day....even after painkillers!
Tried a couple of dresses on today in the shop, i thought i'd get a bigger size as i have gained ...and even the bigger size was too tight
I'm hoping this is a wake up call for me & i get my butt into action!!
I really want to make the gym tomorrow got lots to do but i will REALLY try to get their!

Sorry to be a moaner...would proberbly cheer up if this stupid headache would go away :headache:

Tracey, Happy Mother's Day (a day late)! That is so sweet that dd and Gary made you breakfast in bed and gave you perfume. You have raised those two right (and yes I feel women "raise" their husbands in many ways ;) ) Glad you had a nice day.

You can do this Tracey, start back at the gym slowly, its great you are walking to work, maybe just keep that up and go to the gym to lift some weights. Try to sub some of your favorites for lower fat options. You like dip, hey who doesn't? Make your own with fat free sour cream or yogurt, use low fat crackers and veggies and you get your dip fix. If you deprive yourself of what you love, it never works. I know you can get back on track. Maybe put a picture of yourself when you were thinner right where you can see it. You have had a ton of stress with the move, you've been sick and it all makes things hard. But never impossible! You can get back on track the same way you did in the first place. You have to want it and want to work at it enough to make it happen. If you did it once, you can most certainly do it again! You have a lot of strength and discipline now its time to pull those things out and use them to your advantage!

Its okay to fee discouraged to a point, because that can motivate you to change. But don't let it weight you down, just make it happen, I am betting you will!:cheer2:

 Tracey,

I think I know how you feel. I have been on this weight loss journey for almost 3 years now and have only maintained a 4 pound loss. :( I think the key is that we need to make little, lasting changes in our lives instead of the big changes right away. I know that you CAN do it, Tracey!!!!:cheer2:

Hope you have a great day today, WISH sis!
