Tracey's wedding weight loss attempt (comments welcome & needed!!)

Congratulations on your raise, Tracey!:woohoo: I'm sorry to hear that the head of the school is leaving.

Sending lots of :wizard: :wizard: :wizard: for England to win!!! Go England!:cheer2:

Have a great Sunday!:goodvibes

England lost :sad1:
DH was gutted! I enjoyed watching lots of muscular men jumping on top of each other ;)
I dont often watch rugby - what a rough game! these men are hard!!
DH said he could tell TOM had arrived as i sat there saying ''go on get him' and ''just kick him''!!! I asked him if he could really tell when TOM is around & he reminded me that an hour earlier i had stormed out the kitchen after having a fight with a curry container!!! So TOM makes me nasty & violent!
Had a curry with nam bread & 2 cans of cider for dinner, We tryed some 90% dark chocolate but it was vile!!! tasted like mud!...or something worse ;)

Dax - great to 'see' you around again :) sorry your team didnt win too! I love watching American football!! DH has to keep explaining the rules though! Its a bit like rugby but rugby players dont have ANY protective clothing - no helmets, no padding...not sure about jock straps - i tried to look ;)
DH said he watched a programme once where they sent some rugby players to train with an American football team, & the football team wouldnt take on the rugby players!! - there so tough!
Tracy - thanks for the :wizard: afraid it didnt work this time :( but the kind thought was there
Beth - our head will be hard to replace :( we are having a meeting in November to discuss who will be on the panel!

Sunday
I went to the gym :dance3:
burnt 700 cals too :cool1:

b/fast - non
lunch - non - went xmas shopping instead!
dinner/late lunch - cheese & ham roll, yogurt, small choc bar

After the gym i finally got my christmas shopping started :goodvibes

After surfing the net the other day i found a beautiful college not to far from where i live - a huge gothic mansion!! I thought oohhh DD could go their....
nope its a US college where students come to study in the UK!
They have a meet a family programme where English families befriend a student & show them the 'sites' & English way of life. So i've e-mailed to see if we can do it :)
Heres where to have a look - its stunning:

Hi Tracey, sorry to have been gone so long! I love your current house, you have wonderful taste! That is great about your new raise, that will really help with the new house. I am sorry about that your beloved head is leaving, he sounds like a wonderful man! Loved your TOM story of attacking the curry container!:lmao: . I currently have a cereal box in my cupboard that looks like it was ripped open by an insane woman because it was! TOM for me will happen at WDW, hope I dont' kill any line cutters or other annoying park guests!

Good luck with the new house hunting, you will find your dream house soon! And great job getting back to the gym, way to go!

Hi Amy
did you check out the link to that amazing college?
If any of you guys send your kids their, they can come over for tea! :)

Had 1 slice of pizza last night as DD & DH were moaning they were still hungry.
Woke up this morning with an upset stomach & DD feels sick!!

I'm contemplating trying running outdoors this week while i'm off work. A bit scared of going it alone
1 - i feel silly
2 - scared of weirdo's lurking!!
what do ya think??

 Tracey,

I say go for the run! You CAN do it!:cheer2: Is there a park nearby where you could run? Just be sure and take your cell phone with you. One of these days (when I lose a lot of weight), I'd love to try running. I love going outside and walking for miles and sometimes, I feel like I'd just like to get out there and run like I did when I was a kid.:goodvibes You CAN do it, Tracey!:cheer2:

Hope you have a great week!

P.S. You asked in my journal what I meant by Go TRIBE! That's the nickname for the Cleveland Indians (baseball) who lost yesterday and will not be going to the World Series. :sad1:

Hi Tracey! Just checking in! Sounds like you've been busy!!! Hope all is well!!

Have a great day!
Stacie

monday
b/fast - cereal
lunch - 4 crispbreads
dinner - chk & baked potato covered in a creamy mushroom sauce

DD was really ill yesterday - she threw up twice (not like her at all) so was stuck home all day,
RANT AHEAD :headache:
went & did food shopping when DH got home...1 1/2hrs later & £125 ($250) lighter in my pocket  i get home...now one of the reasons we want to move is the nightmare onstreet parking - inconsiderate people taking up 2 spaces to park their car, lots of work vans etc, evening is the worst when everyone gets home from work. I get back at 8.30pm there is 1 tiny space left!! after spending 10 mins manouvering the car into this space i wasnt in the best of moods!
Get in the house & moan to DH that i would sell the house for anything right now to get off this street (remember TOM is still around) & if i've bumped the car behind its his own stupid fault for parking c!"%p.
DH responds by going off on one at me, dumping the shoping bags on the kitchen floor & storming into the living room shuting the door behind him...
leaving me to unpack all the bags & put everything away (he usually helps)
I say ''your not gonna help then'' he says 'no'
after 10 mins of unpacking frozen & freezer stuff i think stuff this leave the rest all over the kitchen & storm off upstairs ..slamming a door behind me!
Went to bed, DH (minus the D) went to work this morning, i get up shopping where i left it...............AND IT CAN STAY THERE ARGHHHHHHHHH:headache:

 Tracey,

I hope you have a much better day today. I hope you're DD is feeling better too.

Take good care of you!

Tracy, I hope today got better!

I will tell you this, dh and I hardly ever fight but whenever we have been in the process of moving (five times in 16 years) it has been like a war zone at our house! Moving is one of the top five most stressful things you can go through! The uncertainty, excitement, nervousness and worry over money issues all just builds up. So just hang in there, and remember you can't kill Gary so you might as well make up with hiim! This will all be over and it will be worth it.

Here's to a better day tomorrow!:)

Tuesday
Dads birthday - this time last year we were in WDW!!
DH went to work without a word, i got up & the shopping i'd left was still there! so i left it!
Went shopping with DD (whos back to her old self now) she bought some xmas prezzies for some of her friends, then we had lunch, it was a nice time together...but once she'd done her stuff, she'd had enough & i didnt get to do my stuff!!! sometimes i think she got mixed up at birth as shes nothing like me!! - too clever & hates to shop!!! :rotfl:

We then went to take dads birthday prezzie & DD stayed their while i went to the gym - burnt over 800 cals
text DH to tell him i couldnt pick him up from work..no reply

came back to parents picked DD up & went to visit grandad, by this time it was 7pm. DH still had not been in touch, on the way home i got a call DD answered - he wanted to know when we'd be home as he wanted to visit his mum, DD told him we were on our way.
Get home DH has finally put shopping away! we say a few courteous words & he goes to his mums, he gets home at 9.30pm, sits with DD & I watching TV, we all go to bed - DH doesnt speak to me & i dont speak to him!
I hate this, but i'm still too mad to break the ice!
mad that hes ruining my week off too, sometimes i wonder if he does it on purpose

food:
b/fast - cereal
lunch - HUGE baked potato with chk & bacon ceaser topping & cheese (when we ate out)
dinner - 4 crispbreads, muffin

 Tracey,

I'm sorry to hear about the disagreement that you and Gary have had. I'm glad to hear that he did put the shopping away though. ;) I hope things get better soon.

Great job at the gym, Tracey! Keep up the good work!:yay:

I hope the rest of your week off goes well for you. Take care!

Tracey, house hunting, house selling, moving - all such stressful things. I'm sorry you and DH (D can stand for a number of things:rolleyes: ) are having a tiff. I never understood the whole "silent treatment" thing. If I'm mad about something, believe me, I'm gonna tell ya about it!

I just heard this last week, but here's some advice: Any time you and your husband have an argument - get naked. It's really hard to stay mad and fight with someone when you are both naked! Of course, that wouldn't work so well with DD around ...

Anyway, I hope DH comes to his senses soon.

Ok its official - i'm having a lousy week off :sad1:

Wednesday
b/fast - cereal
lunch - cheese & ham roll, yogurt
dinner - quiche, cheesy potato's & salad, 1/2 a muffin

DH & i finally made up....for about 2 hrs!....
there is a new build property i really like, but DH isnt as keen as me - dont know why, proberbly cos he knows i like it so much :confused3
I've been to look at it about 20 times!! the 1st time DH saw it he liked it, but since then has come up with lots of lame reasons not to go for it!
Anyway, we looked (I looked) into part exchange & they offered us £90,000 yesterday, i think thats pretty good, we were hoping to get £100,000 for ours but the markets slow & i dont think we would get that, we had 3 valuations 1 - £90,000, 2 - £95,000 3 - £110,000, number 3 is definatly too high but we went with putting it up for £107,000.
but if we do the part exchange we'll not have to pay selling costs & valuation fees, & all the hassle would be removed, no people coming round (not that we've had 1 viewing yet!) i tryed to talk to DH about it but he doesnt want to go for it - even though the timing is perfect, we have an appointment with our mortgage lender saturday, so we could sort that & reserve the new build all in one day..done, sorted!
I think DH is scared to move & i'm beginning to think he has no intention, hes very set in his ways & scared of change but sometimes you just gotta take a risk, i am growing to hate this street & the thought of being stuck here makes me feel sick!
I got upset, kinda sad, depressed, which made DH feel bad & made me feel bad for feeling like i'm making DH feel bad....does that make sense??:confused3
so we've kinda made up but with lots of tension, i've not slept, feel depressed!
You know when your 100% convinced your right & its so frustrating that the other person cant see it?? :sad2:

sorry had to get all that off my chest!

i think i'm gonna go for a walk to clear my head!

 Tracey,

I'll be praying for you both. I hope that you can come to an agreement about the house soon. It does sound like a great opportunity. Maybe he doesn't realize how much it would mean to you to be able to move. Maybe you guys could go out to dinner and talk it out. Sending prayers and :wizard: your way.

Have a great Thursday!

Hi Tracey! WOW I missed alot! Glad you and DH finally made it up! Good luck on the house thing. It does sound like a great opportunity. Maybe he'll come around. Sometimes it seems they need to think it was their idea, or they are in control of the situation :confused3 Sometimes I find that if I try to be a nice, loving, caring, understanding and submissive wife (honey, if that's what you want to do, I will support that decision... it's up to you) that they will eventually come around... Good luck!

Best,
Stacie

Thanks Tracy & Stacie :grouphug:

Tracy - you said almost exactly the same thing as my best friend did yesterday!!!

Stacie - DD & I are trying a 'nice' double offencive ;) & i was VERY nice to him last night ;)

We are not arguing we are both upset that we cannot feel the same way, i dont want to push him into this, but at the same time i want him to see sense!! Everyone i've spoken to agree's with me (even my parents!!) - that its a great opportunity, not sure if he's slightly coming round, i think it will be down to the meeting with the bank tomorrow...wish us luck!!!
Gonna ring the new build people today i need to get at least £3000 off the price! (told DH its £130,000 but its actually £132,950)

Thursdays food:
b/fast - cereal
lunch - 5 crispbreads, yogurt, small choc bar
dinner - chk, mushroom, red peppers, red onion, salad & cheese wholemeal tortilla wraps & treacle sponge with custard  (they say the way to get to a man is through his stomach ;))

Didnt get a walk in, sat in all day watched tv & played sims on DD's playstation!!!
My friend came over at 3pm we watched my wedding video & some of our wdw vacation. It was good to talk to someone too & get my frustration off my chest!

Todays plan
. A teacher i work with is studying homeopathic medicine at University & needs case studies - she is coming over this morning to work on my back & shoulders :)
. Go to gym, i need to work off this stress!
. Get to bank - STILL havnt changed my accounts to my married name!! They have messed me about a lot & sent me to the wrong places!
. Speak to new build people & try to get some £'s off the house!
. nicely nag DH ;)

The new house & swap offer does sound like a good opportunity. Hopefully the bank will help DH see it that way too. Good Luck negotiating the price with the builder too.

 Tracey,

I think change is really hard for men. He agreed to put your house on the market, and that is a huge step, but he is probably not thinking it will gsell in the next few weeks. He still is in the adjustment phase. It takes men a really long time to get to the next step. For example, I want to redo the flooring and countertops in my kitchen in the next 18 months. I have recently told DH that I want to do a total redo of the kitchen. He is totally freaked out about it. I will gradually agree to just the counters and flooring. It will take the whole 18 months to get the process. I am starting now, so it is done when I want it done.

Good luck with DH, and hope your friend gives a great massage.

Take care,
Beth

Wow girl. You've had a lot going on. Good for you for standing your ground and not putting the food away. DH has never once helped me, but now the kids are old enough and I put them to work. :goodvibes I'm training my DS to be a considerate husband, whether he likes it or not.

Good luck with the house and I hope the bank meeting goes well. :wizard:

 Tracey,

I hope everything works out for the house for you and your DH. Good luck at the bank!:wizard: :wizard: :wizard: :wizard:

Have a wonderful weekend!
