Thanks everyone for stopping by.

Quick post....I'd like to ask for good thoughts/prayers. I noticed that one of the contractors that we work with didn't pay us via direct deposit last Friday. My DH called for info. The company is saying that they never received the paperwork that we mailed in over two weeks ago. Please pray that they would find this paperwork as soon as possible. Not having that money deposited is really throwing off our budget at the moment. Thanks.

Hi Tracy - soo jealous but happy for you that your trip is getting closer, i hope the contractors pay up soon, very pleased to hear your grandmother is out of hospital too.
we have walmart but its called asda here & the customers or just as aweful!! most visits i get abuse from some yob & why oh why when you go food shopping do people have to take husbands, kids, granparents & anyone else they can drag in off the street & then proceed to spend 20 mins chatting in the middle of an aisle??!!! ok rant over

Thanks ladies. I hope and pray that they find the envelope. We're not allowed to make copies of the work orders per our contract with them so if they can't find the envelope, we may be out of luck as far as payment goes. I am praying they find the envelope and pay us very soon.

Two weeks from today, we leave for WDW! I can't wait! Some of the excitement has worn off due to the contractor issues, but I am hoping everything is resolved soon and we can get back to being excited about our vacation.

Today's Plan:
* Soccer Game @ 1:30 p.m.
* Clean the garage
* Work on Disney cleaning list

I know you can't make copies of the stuff in the envelope, but can you recreate it? If you did the work, you shouldn't be out the payment just because they can't find the paperwork...that doesn't seem fair. Hope they find it soon & this is all a moot point. Yay for your upcoming trip!! Sounds like you guys need the break!

The contractor found the paperwork and we should receive payment on Friday!

Yesterday was an interesting day. I woke up @ 3:00 a.m. with horrific pain in my side. It just kept getting worse and worse. My DH decided to take me to the ER just to be safe. They discovered that I have a very large kidney stone. It's too large for me to pass on my own. Because their urologist was unable to complete surgery yesterday, they sent me to a different hospital where they could take me right away.

Basically, they put a stent in to my kidney. I guess that the stone was blocking the bottom of the kidney and the kidney was swelling and the urine was going back in the kidney. After the surgery, the doctor told me that it was an emergency situation because the urine could have backed up in my kidney and then overflowed into my body. Not good. So they decided to take care of the emergency part first and we'll schedule laser surgery in 4-6 weeks to take care of the stone. It will be an outpatient surgery.

I asked the doc about traveling to Florida and he said I should be okay. I'm not 100% sure what we will do though. Everyone is really looking forward to this vacation, but I'm a bit nervous about the possibility of having an issue while we are away. My DH and I are going to pray about it and talk about it this evening.

In the meantime, I feel 100% better. I'm sore from where they put the stent in, but the doctor said that is to be expected for a few days. Other than that, I feel great and very blessed that God's hand was upon me yesterday. Thank you, Lord!

Today's Plan:
* Surveys
* Lots of rest and relaxation (My DDs told me that they will take care of me for the next couple of days. )

Yay for the contractor finding the paperwork!! What a relief!! But, boo! to the kidney stone. I've heard they are very painful. How frightening that must have been!

I do hope you decide to continue with your WDW trip...it sounds like the likelihood of something happening is not great, & it would be such a shame to miss out on this wonderful trip with your family. But I know that good health is the most important thing & I wish you luck with your decision. You'll choose whats best for you & your family!

Kidney stones are so painful! I'm sorry you had to go through that but glad to hear they were able to place the stent successfully. I do hope you are able to take your trip. Sounds like you've earned it!

HUGE PRAISE that they found the paperwork and DH is getting paid for his work! What else do you need? I know, a trip to WDW!!!!! Can't believe it is under 2 weeks now!

Tracy, I'm so glad they found the stone and you had part 1 taken care of! You are the 4th person I know with the same problem in the past several weeks.

Take it easy and rest and be a good patient. I pray that everything works out with your trip. I probably won't be on here till after we get home on the 12th. So...have a wonderful time and I'll "visit" you when I get back.

Yesterday was a rough day. Lack of sleep + some residual pain =
The doctor did give me pain meds and they do take away the pain, but they make me feel nauseous and light headed, so I am trying to avoid taking them. I think my body is still processing the pain meds they gave me in the hospital too. I just feel really bloated, sluggish, and yucky right now.

Today's Plan:
* Watch the Blue Angels practice for the air show this weekend
* DH works and takes puppy to the vet
* Relax, nap, pray (in no specific order! )

I'm still praying about going to Disney. Like I said, the doctor okayed the trip, but I'm still a bit nervous about it. Maybe once I start feeling better physically, I'll start feeling more positive about going.

I hope you get some rest today and feel better soon. I have the same reaction to pain pills. I took some once for a broken arm and felt so nauseated I decided I much prefered the painful arm.

Oh I hope you feel better. I don't know from personal experience, but from reports of others the town of Celebration has a wonderful hospital and ER, if you should need it. If you feel up to traveling, I say go. You aren't planning to do comando park hopping and if needed you could rent a wheelchair. Just feel better soon. You all have worked so hard for this trip.

Tracy, I am so sorry you are going through this with your kidney stone. I am really hoping you get to take your trip (and I know you are too). Just take it one day at a time, you still have a week to go to continue to feel better. A trip to WDW might be just what you kidney needs! Just take it easy and rest up. Keep us posted, I am really praying for you during this time.

So glad the contract issue worked out and that you will get your money. That is at least one thing off your plate!
