I recently did quite a bit of my basement. It feels good when I go down there and its so uncluttered. And you use muscles that you don't normally use. So consider it a workout.

I came back to add that I did my 2 for workout already today. I did FIRM Upper Body and FIRM Lower Body 2. I also ate breakfast (banana, strawberry, and chips and cheese) as well. Lunch will be a big salad and one slice of pizza. Not sure about dinner yet... Depends on what DH wants.

Jamie~ Thanks! I cant believe March is over either! Ever since I started keeping track of my goals for the year and my weekly mini goals, time has just been flying by! (That's great because that means our Disney trip in September is that much closer!:yay: )

Carole~ It does feel good to get all of that stuff cleaned out!:thumbsup2 We still have the house to tackle yet, but at least we now have some space to put stuff in the garage.;):rotfl:
 
Tracy, your goals sound very good. I know you can do it! Don't stress about that three pounds, you have been through a lot lately and have done very well. It will be gone very soon! I hope your dh feels better soon! And way to go cleaning out the garage, doesn't that feel good! I really need to get that done here too, I am amazed at how much junk we have in that dumb garage :rolleyes: . I hope you have a good weekend! Well done on doing the firm x 2 today! You rock with that Firm thing, I tried that and was too out of shape to do it!

You did great with your eating..I wish I could limit myself to one slice of pizza. I always seem to have to have at least 2. Not good I know!!! but good for you...that is great!!!!

Sorry I don't have my end of the month post done today. I went to a meeting at church this morning, came home,ate lunch, and went right to sleep.... This "virus" that my family keeps passing back and forth is not fun. :(

I feel bad about saying this, but I think I am going to forget the mini-goals again this week. Between work and everyone being sick, my body just can't keep up.... I think I am going to take a break from my mini goals until after Easter. That way, I am giving my body a chance to heal before jumping back into the swing of things. I figured I would be feeling better by now, but I keep having a couple of good days and then a couple of bad days. My DH is still sick as well :(

I will try an post my end of the month report on Monday.... Have a great weekend!
 
Maybe you have done this already. One time at work our Resp Tech group kept getting colds and the group couldn't shake it. Out of interest they swabbed and cultured their phone. It came back with a host of viruses. So they routinely disinfected it plus door knobs and keyboards. That got the source and they stopped getting sick. Just a thought.

Yesterday, I was feeling quite sick. I'm still feeling kind of yucky this morning.... I only have a couple of minutes to post......

Update on my goals for the year:

1. I want to lose 20-25 pounds before we leave for WDW in September. Yikes! I'm showing a 3 pound gain since last month. I need to get serious about this.... I may be tweaking this goal to say December or hit Onederand before September.

2. I want to build up our savings account. Still didn't add any money to the savings account in March. However, we just got our tax refund back and we will be adding some money into the savings account at the end of the week.

3. I want to pay off as much debt as possible. We have two credit cards paid off and a third will be paid of at the end of the week!

4. I want to become a better cook. I want to cook healthy, balanced meals for my family. Same as last month...Wow.... This one went way out the window this month! Too much eating out and not enough planning of meals. Gotta get back on track here for sure.

5. I want to organize my time better. Still working on this too. I did manage to get the garage and the van cleaned which helps stay organized. We will be working on the house in the month of April and again, we'll try turning the TV off during the day and see if that helps.

All in all, an okay month. I still need to work on my goals, but at least some progress is being made in most areas. (Execept for weight :sad2: )

Today was a good day... My DH worked and got done early, I got the Easter Disney Dollars and a t-shirt for my DH, I found some haircare products on clearance that my fave store doesn't stock anymore, my DH got 2 new polos and 2 new pairs of jeans for $39, we went to see Meet the Robinson's (loved it!:love: ), and we spent a quiet evening at home. Now, if only I could feel better and lose weight.....:rotfl:

Tomorrow's plan: the ZOO!:banana: It's supposed to be 80 degrees tomorrow and 35 on Thursday.:scared1: Gotta enjoy the weather while we can.:cool1:

Wow don't you love the springtime highs and lows with the weather! I am sorry you guys are still sick, that does not sound like a fun virus but it sounds like today was better. I think you are doing very well with your goals. You cannot expect to make them all at once right off the bat, especially given what you have been going through with your mom and being sick etc. Sometimes its a good goal just to get through the week without having a breakdown or doing someone bodily harm!

Just hang in there and keep believing in yourself! You can do it Tracy and you will!
 
Hey Tracey--sorry to be MIA for a couple of days, I was away all weekend and had no access to my computer since we were camping!

I hope you and your family are feeling better soon! I know the feeling it was about 4 weeks for me awhile back until I was feeling 100% again. Since I work in an elementary school, I feel like I am sick so much from the kids. Oh well, I love my job so I don't mind!

Hang in there with all you have going on!

Hope you had fun at the zoo! Gotta enjoy the warm weather while you can!

Wow...when was the last time I checked in here???:confused3 Sorry I've been a slacker. I'll do better, I promise!!

Your goals are great!! Paid off 2 credit cards and have one left!! That's awsome!! The weight will come off...slowly. You know what you need to do...now do it!! (yeah, easier said than done...we all know that!) Savings account....what's that? Let me know!
Oh, and the cook better meals....let me know about that one too! I would LOVE to be organized enough to have the food on hand to cook better meals, but alas....it's just not in my genes!!

Yesterday was a good day. We ended up not going to the zoo. We went to the local outlet mall and fed ducks instead. We also took the girls to the park yesterday. We knew that we had to take advantage of the weather while we could. It's going to be in the 30s and snowing for the rest of the week. :sad2:

Today's Plan:

* No workout (Too sore from yesterday's!:headache: )

* Thrift Stores

* eBay

* Cleaning
