Toystoryduo’s Journal: Baby Steps are the Key... Celebrate Each Victory!

:bday: Happy belated birthday to Emily. I have an Emily too. :cloud9:

People were talking about the Ohio game last weekend at DD's swim meet in Palm Springs. I thought of you when I heard Ohio won! :cheer2:

Scott's suggestion on the glass of water (and the other suggesetion too :rotfl2: ) are good ones and what I do also.

Have a wonderful Thanksgiving, Tracy. You have had a tough year, but try and reflect back on the good things like your new healthy lifestyle as you enjoy your day with family. Take care!

Thanks WISH buddies for stopping by! :grouphug:

That's about all for the weekend.... I'm not too stressed about any of this stuff. It can be done today, tomorrow, or Tuesday.....

Hi Tracy

I'm soo jealous, i want to go back :(
Hope your day is not as busy as it looks!! ;)

A week away?!?! WOOHOOOOOOOOOOOOO tracy!!
I bet you have a ton to do this week, so I hope the time flies by for you!

Hope you had a great Thanksgiving! I always get pretty emotional during the holidays too, so im glad its not just me!

have a great rest of the weekend!

Hey there Wish Sis! Six days soon to be five! We'll be right behind you and I know how ready you are and how much you deserve this trip! I am still bummed we are missing each other though.

You may be surprised at the scale. The last time you weighed you were early in your new INCREDIBLE exericse routine and you probably had that muscle gain that has now stablized. But no matter what the scale says, remember its a long journey and not just about a number.

I hope this weekend has had some relaxation thown in for you. I loved your ABC thankful list by the way. And I love the support and friendship you have shown me this past year! You are on my list Tracy! Keep up your good work, your exercise minutes are just amazing. You're puttin me to shame girl (but I forgive you ;) )!

Thanks Tracey, Jen, and Amy! :grouphug:

What a week ahead! I am excited, nervous, stressed, relaxed, excited, not so excited all wrapped up into one! :hyper: I never got a chance to make my to do list this weekend and without it, I am lost. :(

I'm kind of puzzled as to why, but I am not scheduled to work at all this week. Maybe that will be a blessing as I run around trying to get things done. :confused3

Today's Plan:

* Workout

* Make my to do list!

* Homeschool

* Laundry

* Get some things done on my to do list

Hope everyone has a great Monday! :sunny:

Halftime Update....

I've gotten my workout in (60 minute walk on the hill) and my list is done! Woohoo! I'm glad that I made the list because there really isn't that much that needs to be done by Saturday... Whew!

I am really stoked right now because I found out that while we are in WDW, there will be (hopefully!) a Nasa launch! How cool is that?!?!?! :cool1:

I still have laundry, homeschool, and packing to do.... It will get done eventually. ;)

I just got a call from my SIL and she asked if I could babysit my niece tomorrow for a little while.... So, the girls and I will get up early and head to their house for a couple of hours..... Extra Disney money! :thumbsup2

I'll try and update on my progress later.... have a good afternoon! :goodvibes

Hey, sorry I haven't been around much lately. That Thanksgiving list was great! At our church they hand out a sheet for the kids to write down 100 things that they are thankful for, and if they get it done and hand it in, they get a treat.

I need to enjoy your trip to WDW vicariously with you, remind me what your plans are. And a nice report when you get back!

Have a good one!

Don

Hi Tracy, that would be very neat if you could see a NASA launch. One night at Fantasmic we saw some rocket going up, it turned out to be an unmanned rocket but it was so cool to watch, I can only imagine if it was a shuttle! I think WDW trips always bring up a variety of emotions. Believe it or not I am already feeling a twinge of sadness knowing if our trip is this close it will be over soon as well! How crazy is that!

Good for you getting the walk in. Your exercise minutes are incredible. I am impressed! I woudl take that as a definite blessing that you are not working, maybe your boss just figured you would be busy getting ready for your trip and cut you some slack!

Five more days and then you are off Wish Sis!

Hi Don and Amy.... Thanks for stopping by! :wave2:

Well, yesterday's to do list did not get done....A friend called and asked if we could meet for coffee or dinner and work called and asked me to come in... So, I did both and nothing else got done. :blush: That's okay though because that is what today is for! :thumbsup2

Today's Plan:

* Babysit my niece

* Homeschool x 2

* laundry

* Wrap presents/Figure out who I have to buy for

* Spend some QT with my DH because he is working OT this week. (Love the initials... LOL! :rotfl: Hee hee!)

Hope everyone has a great Tuesday! I will try and get to journals later....

Your trip is so close now. Hve you started counting down the hours yet? :Pinkbounc It would be really cool if there was a NASA launch while you were at WDW. Have a great trip, if I don't get back here before you leave! :cool1:

Hello friends,

Today has been a long day..... :( Let's recap:

* We got up super early to watch my niece... I only had about 3 hours of sleep. :(

* We babysat.... Went very well! :thumbsup2

* Came home... Had hundreds of phone calls to return (slight exaggeration there ;) )

* Went to lunch at Pizza Hut.... was good. :goodvibes

* Took the dogs to get their shots.... Took forever :rolleyes:

* Went to Kohl's... Found nothing but a headache :rotfl:

* Came Home..... Dog urinates on carpet, DD4 decides to give herself a haircut, kids start fighting, and I end up on the verge of a migraine. I didn't accomplish anything today other than homeschooling and I am working on laundry right now. My to do list went right out the window. Did I mention that TOM will be arriving tomorrow? :furious: Let's just say that I am not a whole lot of fun to be around right now. :rolleyes:

I can't wait to go to bed and wake up to a new day tomorrow! :sunny:

Okay, here is the bright side: DD4 saved you money on a professional haircut ;) and TOM will be done by the time you get to WDW! Some days, our best laid plans go right out the window huh? This time of year I just consider myself lucky if I don't end up being the one going (as in jumping) out the window!

You have exercised so much, you will be so pleased with how much more stamina and energy you have at WDW. You have gained so many awesome habits this past year! I know you must be so excited, can you believe our long awaited December trips are almost here :cool1: !

Hi Tracy,
I cant believe your trip is almost here!!
If i dont get back to your journal before you leave have an absoulutly awesome time :)
Make lots of special memories then come back & share them all with us :)
Take care & safe journey
Tracey :)

:rotfl: Thanks for the laugh this morning, Amy! I sooooo need it! :goodvibes

Thanks Amy and Tracey for stopping by! :goodvibes

Good morning WISH friends,

I am so out of it this morning. I'm very, very tired and my to do list is not magically getting shorter. :( I'm not sure how I am going to get everything done especially since my DH is working 18 hours today and has the van. :( I am grateful that my DH is willing to forego sleep in order to make some extra money, but I would have liked the help at home too. Oh well....

My to do list really isn't that long... If I had some help and the use of a vehicle, it could be done it a matter of hours. However, I am getting extremely overwhelmed by my list and the lack of help and that is causing me to become even more tired.... TOM is on its way too and that is always an energy grabber as well. :( Yikes!

Here's my maybe it will/maybe it won't get done to do list for the day:

* Workout (DONE!)

* Homeschool

* Laundry

* Packing

* Straightening the house (it's a little crooked today... :lmao: )

* Go to the bank

* Go to the post office

* Go out to eat with my mom and kids ( a little stressful not knowing how mom will act)

* Wrap gifts/ figure out who I need to buy for

* Give the dogs a bath

* Go to Walmart/ Marcs for vacation stuff

* Do invoicing for my DH

* Miscellaneous odds and ends :crazy:

I know the list looks long, but if I had some help and the van, I could get it done in a day. Oh... and did I mention.... we may be leaving Friday night instead of Saturday due to a winter storm?!?!? We'll be watching the weather closely and make our decision tomorrow evening. YIKES! :eek:

I think I am going to relax for awhile and pray.... Speaking of prayers, today my grandma is having a stent put in the artery that leads to her kidneys. Any good thoughts and prayers you can send her way are much appreciated! Thanks! :grouphug:

Have a great Wednesday! :sunny:

Wow! Tracy, WDW is almost here!

Hang in there! I've been lurking, just not posting.

Prayers for a safe trip for you and good results for G'ma today.

Remember, many things will still be there when you get back. Don't try to accomplish too much before and end up sick for the trip. Do what HAS to be done, leave the rest.

Hope today is good and the trip is even better!!

Tracey, I will definitely say a prayer for your grandma. Please keep us informd, I am sure she will do just great.

If you leave on Friday night that just gets you closer to WDW that much sooner! I hear you on that to do list. I hope you have your van tomorrow. We had quite a storm here today (plus my doggy woes, you'll see in my journal) and that made me homebound. I am ready to just be on my way and to heck with what doesn't get done!

Good luck, it will get done, if it doesn't, it wasn't that important to begin with!

And I am glad my smart a** comment about the haircut made you laugh! What else can you do when they do that (and they all do). Hang in there, your fun days are a coming!

Thanks Julie and Amy. :goodvibes You gals are such great friends... Thank you so much! :grouphug:

Well my friends,

I feel good about today. I got most of the laundry done, I homeschooled, I packed (about 75% of the way there), I helped DH, I did the online check in for my MIL, went out to eat with my mom and had a good time, and narrowed my to do list down. Oh, and did I mention that we straightened the house in record time?!?!?! Woohoo! :cool1:

Update on grandma..... The surgery went well... She was joking afterwards. A good sign indeed! Please continue to pray for a quick healing and that the procedure worked. Thank you! :goodvibes

DH has 5 work orders to complete over the next two days..... Please pray that God would give him strength to get them done, that the jobs would go smoothly, and that he would get some sleep! it's 10:10 p.m. and he has now officially been up 24 hours! :eek: He did call off of the 3rd shift job tonight so he can sleep, but still....

Have a good evening! :goodvibes

Good morning friends,

I am feeling a bit more centered this morning... I do have quite a bit to do, but I am not feeling nearly as frantic as yesterday. Here is today's plan:

* Finish laundry

* Homeschool

* Workout?

* Wrap presents

* Finish packing

* Pay bills, stop mail, cash checks, make spare house key

* Walmart

* Invoicing for DH

* Drop MIL off at airport, pick up car rental

That's it! It is a relief because that's about all that needs to be done before we leave. We are still watching the weather carefully and will decide this evening when we are leaving.

Tomorrow is my big weigh-in, measurement taking day..... I am hoping to be pleasantly surprised. :goodvibes Weigh-in :wizard: is much appreciated! :goodvibes

Have a great Thursday! I'll probably be checking in from time to time today so I can track my progress on my to do list....
