Toy Story third track soft opening

This is awesome. One of my favorite rides will now have a shorter wait. Good news indeed!

That's absolutely fantastic!! It's insane how crazy that ride is to try to get on. It's even worse when the ride goes down for any amount of time. Hope this helps permanently relieve some of the issues.

Now to resolve the issue of trying to get on Mine Train in MK. :)

Definitely good to hear! It sounds like it's having a positive impact on wait times.

Is it going to be 2 FP+ tracks and 1 standby? I hope so because then standby would be continuously moving forward instead of stopping for 5 minute stretches as FP+ people cut in front.

As I've mentioned before, I don't mind "walking" in line. I don't like "standing" in line. There is a psychological difference to me.

It looks like the split is after the FP merge point. The CM will direct people to the appropriate one. The current tracks weren't split between FP and Standby anyway. They actually do some kind of grouping with even and odd numbered parties (don't know the specifics). Now with he third track they will just have another direction to send people. While it won't stop the holding of Standby for FP users, it should make them go through much faster.

Time keeps updating. Now posted 55 minute wait with a 36 minute actual wait.

I never use MDE for accurate wait times. Touring Plans LINES app generally has the accurate times.

My Guess is once the new line opened the whole line started shifting quickly forward. Will need to watch throughout day to see real impact of 3rd track.

I've been trusting the mde wait times. You just went recently, right? Does the touring plans app really have that many more different and more accurate time??

OMG yes! We found Disney inflated wait times by about 1/2 every time. We relied on LINES and were never let down. We also submitted wait times on every line we waited on.

Very interesting. My next trip is in July, I'll have to get your suggested app. Is it free? Is it called touring plans lines?

The app (LINES by Touring Plans) is free but you need a membership to access all the features. Its like $12.95 for a year. Well worth it.
