Going to be spending one day at Hollywood Studios this spring. Going with DH and baby (will be 7 months at time of travel). The main reason for this trip is to visit Galaxy's Edge. Our plan right now is to go at park opening and do rider swap for the new star wars rides. Get a boarding group if that is still happening. I'll keep baby busy by going to meet characters and going to shows while my husband waits in lines. I'd like for us to at least do one attraction together but there aren't many any height attractions at Hollywood Studios. I noticed Toy Story Mania is listed as any height. It's been a couple of years since I've been on it but from what I can remember I think the ride kind of whips around. If so, I don't know that I feel comfortable bringing him. My husband seems to think it would be okay to put baby in my carrier and bring him on the ride. I don't mind bringing baby on the ride as long as I feel he will be safe. Anyone ridden it recently and can tell me if I'm right about how fast it moves? Or has anyone brought a baby on the ride?

It should be fine! I took my son on it when he was 12 months (literally the day after his birthday). It was my first time riding it, so I didn’t know about the spin at the beginning. I was still sort of getting him situated on the seat when it spun and it freaked me out, even though I was holding onto him. My mom and I looked down at him and he was laughing so hard! He was completely fine, obviously.

We brought a baby on it and I held him during the ride. It swings around but not in an overly jerky way and I had no issues holding him steady. But we were also pretty comfortable bringing him on other rides that had some fast bits (Frozen Ever After/Pirates of the Caribbean).

Yes, I brought my son when he was 9 months and he loved it. My score was not as high as usual, but I still beat the rest of the family, HAHA

Thanks everyone! I just really couldn't remember how fast it went.
Happy to know other babies have enjoyed the ride!

TSMM has no height restriction but for me personally it whips around a little more than I’d feel comfortable taking an infant. A seven-month-old with good head control in a carrier I’d be totally fine with. I will tell you though, from lots of experience lol, it’s definitely not nearly as fun when you have a baby or toddler on your lap. If it’s possible I would try to ride twice, and get your DH to hold the baby at least one of those times.
