Toy Story Breakfast coming to MGM??

I believe there is one coming. Over on the Passporter boards, there is a thread w/ a link to an audition for the Sarge character from Toy Story, and the ad mentions a new character dining experience coming to MGM.

There is such a thread at the DIS as well...not more than three or four days ago.

Boys...boys...boys...yes, some of us do have boys!! I often ponder why Disney lets such a valuable part of the market slide as I move around the parks with my three little boys. TONS of princess attire for girls (my boys would LOVE prince stuff to dress up in or other character stuff...of which they have a small bit but NOT enough). TONS of girl charm braclets ( my boys would LOVE to have a hat that you could pop charms on to and collect just like the girls do with the charm braclets *and yes, I know they have pins for everyone but it would be nice to see something like "boy charms" aimed at boys*). TONS of places to make your own princess crown (would it be too hard to just offer a few more "manly" colors and have a create your own king/prince crown station as well?). TONS of places for princess meals(Hopes that the Toy Story Breakfast at MGM rumor is true!!and would love to see a Monsters Inc Breakfast, an Incredibles meal, a meal with Figment, a pirate meal, and a "royal" meal with both princes and princesses. Oh and did I mention, that if Aladdin and Genie had a meal I might have to move in permanently!!?? )

All of that said, my boys do love the Disney Princesses (in fact my ds who is 6 thinks he is going to marry Snow White...who was SO SWEET to him at our Cinderella lunch that he just fell in complete love!). I don't think they need to do less for girls...just ADD more for boys in addition to what they already have. Thankfully, my boys are still young enough to relish anything Disney and don't mind at all having dinner with a bunch of princesses or posing with them. I just hope Disney gets the clue and markets more for little boys before mine get too old to enjoy all of the cute things I know Disney is capable of putting out!

As far as the Toy Story character meal my bets would be on them doing it at Pizza Planet for breakfast. They don't use it now at that time and it is already themed perfectly!

Here's for hoping that this time the rumor is not only true but coming VERY soon!

I am so hoping this is true. I would be willing to add on this character meal just to do something different. DD loves Toy Story and I am sure DS will love them too. Currently his favorite Toy is his sister's fairytale Princess Dora. He it makes him happy, and makes her a little mad. I think in his mind it is the best of both worlds.

The Incredibles! We'd also love to take the kids to a Toy Story character meail. DS has his Woody doll (that he has from middle child who got itfrom eldest child).

Oh yeah, The Incredibles would be a great one too!

That would be awesome! Even better if it were to happen before our June trip! My 2.5 yo DD absolutely LOVES Toy Story I and II!! She has loved it since she was 1! AT 13 months old she was riding the Buzz Lightyear Ride at MK. She sleeps with her Woody doll (won't let her sleep with Buzz because he's too hard of a toy). They only toy she doesn't have is Slinky (we'll have to get it this year). I wish they would make Tiy Story underwear for girls and I could get her potty trained!! She wouldn't DARE pee on them! She would be so excited. I was just looking forward to the parade!! Anyone know when it may be available (IF they do it)?

I certainly hope it comes to fruition! I would LOVE to take my son to a Toy Story meal, and MGM has been sadly lacking on character meals for several years now.
I would assume that they will put it at Hollywood & Vine once again. Hope they do breakfast, lunch and dinner.

Oh I would really like this. It would definatly make us visit MGM. A lot of times if we don't fit in what we want to do at the other parks we skip MGM.

Thursday night, our waitress at H and V told us they were going character in May, because she said she didn't have enough seniority and would be shipped to a new restaunt. She said only people with high seniority get character meals.

DS' (3 1/2) favroite characters,,,,,,, Buzz, Woody, The Incredibles and Power Rangers. This is SOOOOO right up our alley.

We wont be going again for a few years, but when we do, if its there, we will be too!
