Tower of Terror

Ok this is an odd question… on the Tower of Terror ride do you sit or stand? On Disney’s web cite they have a video and in the video they are standing on the ride. My cousin just came back from WDW and he said that when he went on it he was sitting. After all my visits to WDW I have never been on this ride, this time I promised my cousin I would go on it with her so would like to know what I am in for.

You sit down on the ride. It's pretty intense (for me!). Have fun!!

You definitely have to sit for this one!! Although, my butt does float up off the seat!! Maybe you saw the area before you actually get on the ride...there is a short Twilight Zone film before you go on the ride and you stand for that. Have fun!!

I liked it better without the seatbelts. You really FLEW when it was just the bar in front of you to hold on to.
Although I must admit I am getting used to the seat belts. Even followed my DS and did not hold on a couple of times. What a sensation of being lifted up!!!!!
Note there are bars/grasps of some kind to the side of each seat so chickens like me can hold on..........though I am getting braver with each ride!

Is it a lap bar? Or one of those bars that that are on the seat in front of you that you hold on to? I’m just happy to be seated. My cousin is disappointed she thinks it would be more of a thrill to stand. If we were standing the biggest thrill would be picking my big butt off the ground

I sometimes think that Life is Like the Tower of Terror, one big up and down.
The great big beautiful thing about the downs, is the Up that is to come.

There are seatbelts with a bar on the back of the seat in front of you to hold onto. The lap bar was replaced a couple of years back for the seat belts. Have fun.....this is one of our favorites
