This may sound like a strange question - In the library of the ToT, does the floor move while the lights are out or am I just imagining things?

Nope, the floor nor the room at all moves. It's just a standard pre-show area.

I read somewhere that the floors are slightly slanted, to give you a disoriented feeling. Anyone know if it's true?

The CM's always asks all the guests to stand on the carpet. On a couple of occasions I've made sure not to stand on the carpet and I didn't get that "off-balance" or disoriented feeling. This is why I was wondering if the floors moved ever so slightly - could also be that the area under the carpet is slightly tilted - or, it could all be in my imagination (would kinda fit with the Twilight Zone theme....)

I'm pretty sure they only ask you to stay on the carpet so that you have less temptation to touch all the things in there. :)
