Looking at thrill data, LL return times and wait times for ToT have been very high..

is it currently down to 1 drop chute?

if so, is that usually because they are doing maintenance or something to that effect? Trying to gauge if I should be planning for the same situation come mid April.

thanks

So the left side is down? Do we know how long? I understand unscheduled things, but it sounded like this is scheduled?

that’s what I’m wondering. Is this something that happens often (extended downtime on one side) or is it probably just maintenance and they can get away with not announcing it as they have two sides do the ride is still up. I know one side was down for an extended period late last year.. was it the other side?

We rode it two different days earlier this month. Both sides were running. The parks are just busy which = longer lines.

I scanned MDE last night and ToT was at 110 minutes, by the longest in the park (next highest was RotR at 75min). Wouldn't be surprised if Distriv was correct and one side was down.

I heard that they are having to redo the lining of the drop chutes/towers, so they are bringing one down at a time. This started last Fall. I don't know how long it will last. It was sort of unexpected, apparently. The lining, concrete or fiberglass :confused3 , was coming off. They didn't expect this.

Echo (left side of the boiler room) was down in the fall for a refurb. If it was the same work it would be Foxtrot down instead.

I think it's unscheduled. When was there last Tuesday they had to evac the ride in the afternoon and I didn't see the side open the rest of my trip.

I was there two weeks ago and one day all elevators were running - first time I’d ridden the far right elevator in all my years. And then the next day only two were running, so who knows the whys of how they do things.

Here now :) All this week the left side has been down, so super long posted wait times. Today it opened late (maybe 9:30?). The posted was 70 min- we waited about 45.

Is it maybe related to the demolition and work permit? I saw the same data and assumed it was somehow connected.

I can't post the link but if you search Google News you'll find very recent articles about it.
