My DD and I are going in September and I want to do something we have not for my 50th. She is an adult so we can do basically any tours offered. Due to cost I have already crossed off swimming with dolphins and the all day tour ($250). That being said what are your suggestions? How is Keys to the Kingdom? I heard lunch is served on this tour....true? I think this one is peaking my interest most, but if you have taken a different one let me know. Thanks for the help.

My DD and I did Keys to the Kingdom several years ago. We had lunch at Columbia Harbour House. We both enjoyed it. We also did a tour of Epcot's World Showcase, but I don't think that is available anymore.

DH & I started doing the tours when our DD went off to College. We started slow with the Steam Train tour. Over the last 12 years we've done a tour every trip. Keys to the Kingdom is very cool. We weren't too impressed with the Epcot future world tour. We've done the Segway Tour twice (back when it was in Epcot). Our favorites have been the animal Kingdom tours. We've done the backstage tour 3 times, and the Wild by Design (no longer offered) and the super Wild Africa trek ($$$$). Our next trip we will be doing the new version of the backstage Animal Kingdom.

On one of our past trips we got to go in the elephant house and see the 9 week old baby elephant. He was so cute and fuzzy. His mam was getting irritated at him for rolling around in her alfalfa.

Do a tour. You will always remember it.

Keys is great, as are all the other tours. I have taken many over the years, several multiple times. Every one was excellent. I have always suggested taking your first tour in the park you enjoy the most. At MK, the Walt Disney: Marceline to Magic Kingdom is an often overlooked excellent tour also.

Don't forget the discounts...AP, DVC, AP and sometimes AAA, all 15%.

My husband and I did the Keys to the Kingdom and loved it-highly recommend it!

We love the Keys to the Kingdom tour. I did it on my own the first time....nice way to spend some time solo, bit with other people. The second time, my dd was finally old enough to do it. So, my dh, dd and I did it. It was fun the second time too! When I go back in May, my dd wants to do it again, with her friend.

I've done Keys to the Kingdom twice and also Backstage Magic. I loved them both. Backstage Magic is longer. Yes you get lunch on both tours. We had lunch at Columbia Harbour House On Keys and Mama Melrose on Backstage. We will probably do both again at some point. I love the tours. Have fun!

Enjoy The Magic!!

I've did the Keys to Kingdom years ago and enjoyed it. Also did the all day one that goes to MK, Epcot and the studios and enjoyed that as well. We been diving in the seas 3 times (certified scuba divers) and love that. I don't think you can go wrong with any of them.

We have not done a tour at WDW but ave done them at DLR and thoroughly enjoyed.

I would recommend trying them for sure :thumbsup2

KTTK is a great tour. Lunch is the one weakness. You choose from the cheapest options at CHH. But don't let that stop you.

My wife and I have done both Keys to the Kingdom and Backstage Magic. Honestly, we really did the tours for me as my wife has no interest in how the sausage is made.

Backstage Magic was by far the better tour. Keys to the Kingdom, though shorter, just felt longer than it needed to be. Lots of stuff they discuss is typical trivia. The utiladors are neat, but you stay there too long. Also, lunch is meh.

Backstage magic takes you to actualy interesting places that you wouldn't normally see: the topiary creation garden, central shops, AK garage, and Tower of Terror backstage.

I would gladly do backstage magic again. I don't regret Keys to the Kingdom, but I wouldn't want to do it again.

Also, there's always Behind the Seeds! Fun little tour.

Keys to the Kingdom is a wonderful tour. I have done it twice. There is a lunch included, which is pretty basic fried food, but the tour is worth every penny. Just make sure you wear good shoes for walking and clothing for the right temperature.

My DD24 and I, did the KTTK tour a few years ago and really loved it, and enjoyed the lunch at Columbia Harbor. I expect we'll do it again in a of couple years. Definitely recommend it! It's about 5 hours, and you finish up about 1:30 or so, so you still have the rest of the day/evening to fit in more fun! This year, we plan to do the Marceline to Magic tour, it's a little shorter than the KTTK tour, and we are looking forward to doing it!

My husband and I have done KTTK and the Undiscovered Future World tours. We actually really enjoyed both and thought they were both worth the money. And make sure you get the discount if you're an AP or Disney Visa card holder!
