Tours at Wilderness Lodge

Hi there,
I have read in the past that the Wilderness Lodge has several special tours of their property, I know one of them is a culinary tour.
My question is...
has anyone taken one?
how do i find more info on it?
how do you sign up for one?
do you have to use a credit card?

well... I guess that's actually 4 questions! LOL

I think they have discontinued the "Taste of the Lodge Tour" - at least they were not offering it last time we were there.

There is still a tour that tells about the history, design, etc. of the lodge. It is really interesting - and free! We didn't have to sign up for it. We were just told to meet in the lobby at a certain spot. Ranger Stan gave our tour. He is an incredible guy who knows EVERYTHING about the WL and really loves his job. He has quite an internet following!

When we were there in December, the "Wonders of the Lodge" tour was at 9a.m. Wednesday through Saturday. Our tour lasted just over an hour.

Ranger Stan is amazing! You MUST take this tour -- he shares things about WL you would never learn just walking around. He knows so much and is very interesting.
