Touring plans wait times now available...accurate?

Okay, trying to get in all my last minute preparations and planning for our trip...we leave in 9 days!:cool1: I just noticed they now have estimated wait times for all the rides on touringplans.com/disneyland. Anyone have a guess as to how accurate they might be? We're at DL Dec. 12-14...and even the wait times they list for Sunday (being busier than the other days) look really good! Can a girl hope they are at least in the ballpark? :)

Do you have an iphone? There are a few (free) iphone apps that have wait times. You may want to check out MouseWait and DL Waits.

I don't. :( A little behind in the technical department! It just looked pretty promising on the touring plans estimates, but I didn't want to get my hopes up!:)

The 2 I mentioned are updated by guests in the Park, so they tend to be relatively accurate. I will check the one you are asking about in a few minutes, compare with the ones I am familiar with, and let you know how they match up.

Well, I tried....

Touringplans only shows 2 attractions to non-subscribers.

iasw and blab seem to match up (give or take 5 minutes) with MouseWait and DL Wait Times so I would guess it's fairly accurate. Of course, not a lot of data to work with, but.... I tried to help.

Thank you for checking for me! Hey, I'll take it!:thumbsup2 We're there regardless:), it's just nice to have an idea of what we're looking at...as far as crowds go.

What a fun tool! I am so glad that there are people in the world that go to the trouble to provide this kind of information!:)

There is quite a difference between touringplans.com's wait time predictions and Ridemax's. Ridemax has wait times listed as roughly double what is being shown on touringplans.com. From experience I can say that Ridemax overestimates wait times (I assume this is so that in the worst case scenario the plan it spits out will still be do-able), but not usually by THAT much.

Really? Figured that might be the case! Thanks for checking though! It looked a little too good, but hopefully it won't be that bad the Monday and Tuesday we're there since DL closes early for CM parties!:santa:

I was looking at sat 12/11 and sunday 12/12, and its giving them 7 and 5 respectively. I was surprised, cause I thought Sundays were always more crowded than Saturdays. Can this be? Might have to change my plans to watch Fantasmic on Sat to Sunday instead.

I just signed up for touringplans and also thought the wait times look really optimistic. We are going the week before Christmas and on a 9.8 day, MK has most non FP rides at less than 30 minutes. Is there a recommended fudge factor I should count on?
