Touring Plans Increases HS Crowds in September

Crowds after Labor day have tripled today for HS only.

Do they know something we don't know about opening dates for Star Wars and Mickey Minnie?

Saw that this morning as well. We arrive the day after Labor Day. I guess we will see what happens. They also mentioned Tower of Terror will be at reduced capacity from Spring to Summer, but hopefully the maintenance will be done by our trip. Otherwise, going to be long waits.

The increased them for July also so I wouldn't look to much into it. Our dates July 20-28th all went from 4/5 to 7's.

Crowd predictions are like weather forecasts: The further in advance, the less accurate they are. I like TP but it's a tool to help plan a trip, not a crystal ball. We all know WDW is always busy, at least when a crowd level triples you can plan accordingly.

Touring plans are becoming increasingly less useful of a tool as time goes on, and will be even less useful this fall with all of the openings slated for GE, the Skyliner, and other attractions.

I too feel like the accuracy and reliability of crowd calendars has steadily decreased. I never used to use them, but I felt like they were rather accurate. But with a lot of changes and things Disney is doing nowadays, I think they're becoming more and more obsolete. Crowd calendars were a good tool when Disney wasn't adding new rides and making changes.
