Needing some touring plans for our trip next week. Any tips on how to attempt the rides and attractions?

Thanks for any help.

No new rides / attractions in the park since this thread was written (some closures/moves due to Transformers)

The plans don't take into account the times of "Grinchmas" events, so you should look up that info on the USH site. I would get the rides and regular shows you are interested in done ASAP.

What I try and do is get the tram tour done first. I find if you try and do the tram tour later in the afternoon the lines can be really long. And then the next ride I go on is the Simpsons ride cause this one is very popular.

Then the rest of the day I just go with the flow.

My advice would be to do Simpsons first, then go downstairs for Mummy + Jurassic Park, then go back to the Upper Lot. From there I find the plan varies on the times of shows.

But please note that the two times I've been to Universal were during small crowd days so I didn't encounter any problems with crowds in the afternoon looking to do the Studio Tour.

We went during the summer when it was busy. 100% be there when it opens and do the following:

1) Simpsons
2) Backlot
3) Downstairs rides
4) Everything else

Longest line we stood in was Shrek 4D and it was the 2nd last thing we did before watching WaterWorld and leaving.

If it is super busy I suggest skipping Terminator.
