Let's see where did I leave off.
Right we were headed to DHS to see the Osborne Lights. We walked to the monorail station outside MK, took the monorail to the TTC, then took a bus to DHS.
I have to say I really enjoyed not having to drive for 6 days. I have a 40 minute commute to work and back and there's usually traffic. I'm thinking that even when it's not Disney, I'm going to try to take us on vacations where I either don't have to drive at all or have to do very little driving once we get to where we're going.
Anyway, it was dark by the time we got there so I knew the lights would already be on. We got through security and completed our Park Hop successfully
We got our obligatory photopass picture in front of the big hat, then took a restroom break for dd, then headed to the lights display. Took us a while to actually get there, but boy was that display brilliant. Dd ran around in the snow for 15 minutes. Ds had fallen asleep, but woke up when he heard the music. He was in complete awe. Both of them were. He kept trying to reach up and touch the snow.
I didn't take many pictures and most of them are on my camcorder. I snapped pictures while I was recording the dancing lights. But I did get one picture before my digital camera died.
We stayed there for quite a while, probably an hour. I'd made myself a promise though that I would not repeat the late night adventure we'd had the night before, but also didn't want to rush out, so we started making our way down the street looking at the display the whole way. Once we got to the end of it, we headed out. Stopped for a couple of pins and were on a bus back to All Star Movies by 7:30. After a stop to fill our mugs at the food court, we went back to our rooms. I bathed both children and got them to bed.
Then I spent the next 40 minutes blow-drying the stroller, just enough so that it could finish drying while we slept.
Up next, Chef Mickey's, Toontown and a turn of events that shortens day 3.
