Hi everyone! My DS9 and I have an onsite WDW vacation scheduled for 12/16 - 12/21. We were originally planning on just doing WDW, but he is currently reading the HP series (outloud, so I'm enjoying it too!) and I think he would really enjoy seeing WWOHP while he's in the midst of reading the series.

We've been to US/IOA before and went to WWOHP, but did not do Gringot's or Forbidden Journey. We would probably do them this time. Our main (and possibly only) focus will be WWOHP. We could go any day 12/17 through 12/20, but, according to Touring Plans, the least crowded day might be 12/17 (though it's a Saturday). Do you think one day would be better than the others?

Also, Touring Plans is recommending we enter US, go straight to WWOHP and get right on Hogwart's Express (saving Diagon Alley and Gringot's for later). It suggests we ride Forbidden Journey and do the other attractions there and then get back on Hogwart's Express to do Gringot's and Diagon Alley. Is that what you would recommend?

We will have a park-to-park pass but I'm unsure about the express pass right now. We may do Minions and Spiderman if time allows, but we won't be upset if we only do WWOHP this trip.

Thank you for your advice!

I don't believe them that Saturday is the slowest of your choices. I'd always aim for a Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday. It matters which park has early entry too re. their plan and I don't think those have been announced yet. So far, I'm not feeling your touring plan. Look at the Orlando Informer for a comparison. Hogsmeade does get packed so avoiding it mid day is wise but I think you can do Gringotts, some Diagon Alley (get an interactive wand!), hop on the train, ride stuff there then see where the wind carries you. For sure save the last 2 hours to explore Diagon and Knockturn Alleys in the calmer evening.
