Hi everyone,
I love feedback- giving and receiving- about touring plans! I'm hoping someone can give me feedback on a loose plan I have for my trip in 2 weeks (Easter week).
I have 2 plans in my mind and I'm debating which is better. I'm going to be travelling solo for part of the day, and plan to go to MK for the 7am EMH. I'll be there at rope drop, God willing! I will be back at MK for the next two days with the rest of my party, so I don't need to worry about seeing and doing much/everything!
Plan A- stay at MK all day until my party arrives around 2pm. This was my original plan, because I wanted a "stop and smell the roses", leisurely day at the MK. It's going to be so crowded that week, though, that I wonder if I'll really be able to just sit and relax and meander around. Knowing me, (type A), probably not. Hence, Plan B was born.
Plan B- Still arrive at MK for RD at 7. Go to the things my party isn't as interested in and the things they won't do at all (Space & Big Thunder Mtns they won't do- Adventureland is an afterthought, some of which they will do, but no guarantees). Then I would head to Epcot and do some stuff there. How does this sound? I'm wondering if this sounds realistic. I won't be using FP+ because we are using those in the evening.
- Head straight to Space Mountain after rope drop
- Do Big Thunder Mtn. RR
- Ride Haunted Mansion
- go to a few other attractions I like that we might not do as a group (Jungle Cruise, Pirates)
- Get on the monorail and go to Epcot, which opens at 9
- Go to test track (it should still be early, since I was at MK since 7, right?) and ride in the single-rider line
- do some other Epcot stuff like the Land or the Seas (I will have already done Soarin, and I don't need to do it twice), trade pins, etc.
- hang out in World Showcase from 11-1:00. Have a slushy adult beverage, enjoy the flowers, trade pins, and have lunch (any quick lunch recommendations that won't make me feel awkward being alone?)
- monorail back to MK to meet my friends around 1-1:30ish.
Thanks! If anyone wants to recommend some great stuff in WS for lunch that would be a help. I have only done dinners there, not counter service lunch.
