Touring Epcot/WS - approximately how long for each country?

I understand that each country is different and has various exhibits, etc., but any estimate on how long it would take to go through a country? It's my (and my sister's) first time visiting WDW, so any comment would be helpful. We're pretty laid back and like to enjoy the scenery/atmosphere.

We are going at the last week of Feb through first week of March with two days planned for Epcot. So far I'm roughly following Josh's (easyWDW) tour plan: arrive at rope drop, tour FW in the morning, move into WS when it opens at 11 AM, and return to FW in the afternoon for smaller attractions.

Thanks very much!

Let's assume you have one meal, watch Illuminations, a snack, a couple of beverages, ride Maelestrom, do a little shopping, etc., 4 hours (give or take).

if you start with the WS at 11 am, you should be done by late afternoon/early evening. You can save time by grabbing different snacks insetad of a sit down lunch. If you want something better to drink (and eat in the process) than what is offered out on the promenade, try places like Tutto Gusto (Italy) and the Tequila Bar in Mexico (great avocado margarita).

Two full days is good for Epcot. There is a lot to see, hard to put a length on each country. But with two full days, you will get to see most of it :goodvibes

It obviously depends a lot on what you plan to do in each country - which rides/movies you want to do, characters you want to meet, where you want to stop and eat, etc - but I'd say 15-30 minutes each just to wander around the countries.

My husband and I are in our 30's and maybe we're totally lame, but we really liked the Agent P game. It got a little old after doing it in a couple countries, but it led us to explore areas in those countries I'd never seen before (and I've been to Epcot MANY times).

We spent about 3 1/2-4 hours in the World Showcase. That includes riding the few rides, shopping in stores, meeting characters, getting some food, taking pictures and watching some of the street shows.

We could have spent more time, but there were a few we went quicker through.

There are 11 countries represented, so lets say you spent just 10 minutes in each country that is still over an hour and a half. So, really a good half day or more is needed to really see and experience it all. Of course it can be done quicker if needed, but then you may not see and do everything.

Depends on how many movies and rides you want to do.

The boat ride in Mexico usually takes 15 minutes or less total (usually a 5 minute or less line)

The boat ride in Norway will typically be between 20 to 70 minutes total time depending on the wait time (has been 15 - 60 minutes most days recently)

I would apportion 30 minutes for each of the movies you want to see between Canada, China, and France.

If you want to see the American Adventure, figure 45 minutes of time for that or 60 minutes if you want to listen to the Voices of Liberty sing before seeing the show.

Other than that, the time spent in each country is up to you. I know people who will spend 5 minutes or less in each country, while others will spend 30 minutes in each walking through the shops and/or getting a treat or adult beverage. Each country also has various entertainers and live bands you can check out if you are interested in watching any of those.

That's a pretty good summary of how long you can spend at WS. To it I would add this: the Agent P game, which takes about 30 minutes per country (and you can do one to I think 7 different countries).

Awesome! My original plan allotted an hour for each country (plus extra time for rides and/or food), so I think I'm in good shape!

There are also a lot of shows/entertainment in each area at scheduled times. If you make it a point to see these, that could tack on quite a bit of time. Really, you can spend 3 hours and get a good idea of what's there. However, if you attempted to do everything - entertainment, movies, rides, exhibits, Agent P, scenery, characters, you could spend 2 full days easily if not more.
