I've seen boards mentioning "Tour Guide Mike" but I'm in the dark. :confused3 What is this? Is there a website to check out? I get the impression that it provides hints to get the most out of the parks. But by doing this, do you miss a lot of the "little" things that help make the parks so special? I'd appreciate some advice!

147 Days till WDW Magic!! :wizard:

It is like a guide book to the parks to help plan the vacation to WDW except it is online and you pay to access the info. Go to http://www.tourguidemike.com and you can look around. You can do a search here and find lots and lots of posts about it from those who like it and those who don't. I believe he has a money-back guarantee if you sign up and don't like it.

I personally love his site and info - I've used his touring info the last 3 trips and it is the best I've found anywhere without comparison. The $20 or whatever it is to join is well worth it considering how much we spend on our vacations! Very nice community there with discussion boards too. He certainly does not force march you around the parks - one nice thing about his touring plan is that you can do as much or as little as you want and if you end up getting "off track" (I do A LOT because of my kids - one with medical issues) it is easy to get back ON track when you are ready to hit the next attraction. He explains the reasons why to ride this then or that later so you aren't just told what to do.

Hope that helps!

I love it also.
I found we did over look some of the "little" things. We found out alot of tips on other "little known" things however. I found it so useful for our June trip, that I resubscribed for our Nov. trip. (that's right 5 months and I needed to update my info via TGM). No regrets either. I would definitely subscribe again next time we go!!!!
BTW, we have gone 9 times over the past 14 years, so we weren't completely in the dark to begin with......or so we thought. TGM was truly useful.

One question before I sign up and hopefully one of you know. My dates in August can't be completely set until we find out when High School orientation day is ( don't get me started about this-they don't want you taking your child out when school is in session but think nothing about requiring your child to be there on your time) so it may differ by a few days can you specify this or if you put a wider range down does the plan assume you are there for 2 weeks and give you tips based on this? This site sounds great and I want to sign up but can't find the answer to this question before I do.

You can always adjust your dates on the TGM website once you have them set. Also, check out mousesavers for a few dollars off!!

Tour Guide Mike (www.tourguidemike.com) is a former Walt Disney World VIP Host. He now runs his own VIP tour service, plus his extremely informative Web site. We've used his advice and were amazed at how well it works, even during peak seasons. We never waited more than 10 minutes for any ride at Disney World when we followed his plans! I'm a believer and have renewed for this year as well.

The good thing about him is that he's in the parks every single day giving tours, so you get constant updates about crowds, changes, etc. His advice will DEFINITELY point out the "little things", plus you'll have plenty of energy to enjoy them because you wont' be waiting in lines

If you go to his Automated Vacation Planner (AVP) Preview Tour at http://tourguidemike.com/tour/index.asp, you can type "HE7KD-8GA" in the Promotional Code section of the purchase page. You'll save $3 off the normal purchase price of $21.95!
