Tough to adjust FP+ plans

Going on a post Easter trip and high percentage chance of rain is forecast on the days we had planned to be in the parks. I would like to adjust my plans and go on days when there is a lower chance of rain, but cannot get fast pass plus for those days. I feel locked in.

I understand that reservations for restaurants are done 6 months out and am willing to accept that it will be hard to reschedule them in a situation like this because I'm not going to the parks for the dining. I'm going for the attractions.

Yes, I know I can always go on a different day and ride standby in a longer line. But in this case, the older system of getting fast passes the day you went to the park is missed.

Personally I would never change my park days because of the weather forecast. The weather changes so frequently the forecast is pretty unreliable. We have taken trips where rain was forecast almost every day and we only saw one or two afternoon showers. We will be at Disney over Easter weekend and I see rain in the forecast every day. No, I am not happy about it, but I am hoping it won't be all-day rain. I'll just bring my ponchos and stick to my plans. This is what I would recommend for you also. I hope you have a fun time!

Ignore all forecasts unless they are 12 hours or less away.

It can be pouring in one park and the sun blazing away at another...
just no way to know WHICH parks.

Ever hear of swerving out of the way to avoid hitting a pothole... into a lane of oncoming traffic?
Don't second-guess yourself into a worse situation.

Only a handful of attractions close for rain, and it's not that common for an entire day to be a washout. Also, just because a forecast says there'll be rain in the general area, it doesn't mean it will be widespread. It can be sunny at MK and raining at DAK! And weather forecasts here are notoriously inaccurate anyhow. :)

In addition to bringing ponchos, consider your shoes. Think about bringing along some flip-flops, sandals, Crocs, or something else you can put on if your regular shoes get soaked in a puddle. Walking around in wet shoes all day stinks!

I agree with the others. I don't even check the forecast once we are there. I would never change my plans based on a long range forecast. Just carry ponchos, just in case and have a great trip.

The forecast for March 12 and 13 was 90% chance of rain one day and 80% chance of rain the other.

We felt a total of three raindrops.
