Totally re-organising my life

I know this is a bit OT but just had to share.

I have decided, rather than be a stay at home mum for the next 10+ years to get out and develop myself a bit. I have done loads of research and have found I can go back to school and get paid for it!! The gov will give me loads of grants etc + student loans for childcare, travel books etc - works out about £13000(£20000) + social security benefits to pay the rent and get food etc. So I am going to do a 2 yr course in Tourism and Travel at the local college then and then follow that up with a BA(hons) in Tourism Business Management. After all that (5yrs I can either go on to get a job in the tourism industry or do another 2 years to get a Masters.

Kind of like the idea of being paid to study something I love!! Loads of hard work but I've never been workshy and the kids think it's funny that I will be going to school as well.

Amazing how postive you can start thinking just because your body shape changes???

Look at all the opportunities before you! Do you think you would have felt this motivated to make a change in your life if you hadn't been actively losing weight? It's amazing how much confidence we get from something as simple (and complicated!) as deciding to slim up and get healthy. Congratulations on your new attitude and your desire to pursue an education and create a wonderful career for yourself!!!! That is excellent! There are so many possibilities in the tourism field - I bet you will be at the top of your class and really make your mark!

Wow!!! I'm am totally impressed! I think that is incredible. I just took the leap to go back to school and get a teaching credental, and I am so glad I did. I am going to be an incredible teacher and you will make an incredible travel agent or whatever you decide to do within the industry! Way to go!
