Totally random but,...Why do they alternate foil and paper muffin/cupcake liners??

Why do the makers of muffin tin liners alternate foil and paper?
I never use the paper ones.
The foil is so much better.

I let my younger kids play with the paper ones. For some reason, they are amused by them.

I do know folks that use them in baking though.....not for cupcakes, but for muffins....

My kids LOVE the paper cups that we save for crafts....they do SO many things with them!

Sometimes I also use them as little snack bowls/cups for little snacks for the kids as well....

I think you're right. It's funny, because I wondered the exact same thing. Good to know I'm not the only one.

If you want to reheat muffins in a microwave, you don't want to be using the foil liners.. I use foil for cupcakes - paper for muffins..

I have no use for the paper ones. I always end up peeling away my muffin/cupcake with the liner. It drives me nuts. I think I'm gonna go into the All-Foil liner business. Anyone want to invest in my new venture???

If the paper is sticking to your muffins or cupcakes you are either cooking them too much, not enough, or the temp of your oven is "off".. I used to have that problem with my smaller oven at the lake.. After I bought an oven thermometer I found the temp was off by ten degrees - so obviously both the temp and the time had to be adjusted..
