TOTALLY OT: Anyone own "The Sims" pc game??

We just got dd a new computer and went to load everything back on and realized the case/manual for "The Sims" game is lost. In order to load it we need a serial #.

Can anyone help? I'd appreciate it!

I do, but I don't know if the serial number can be used more than once... I would contact Maxis and ask them about what to do.

DId you register it? I registered each of mine, I would think they would have records of you if you did that...

It's dd's and it's atleast 2-3 years old. I don't know if she registered. i just figured if i could get a serial # we could just try to reload it.

My kids loaned my copy of The Sims to a friend, so I "lost" my serial number. I ended up recently picking up a new copy of the deluxe version of the game at Sam's Club for $22. You might as well contact Maxis and see what they say.
