Does the fact that I just returned from the store to buy a gallon of milk and then started reading this thread make me a suspect??

:D

Where do you live? A concert HERE? In C-burg? :hyper:

I concider C-burg to be the boring or borest! But then again, I think most people concider their hometowns boring because the are just so used to what is there and want more.

Any news on the milk bandit? I was looking forward to something uplifting on the saga :wave2:

Oh good, now I can add condesnding, holier than thou, and arrogance to my long list of faults. Anymore? I need to list them all so when I pray tonight to IPU, I will be able to overcome them.

I appologize again, I had no idea I sounded that way. Thnak you for pointing it out.

And the beat goes on....

Anyway, back at the ranch, EsmeraldaX buys a 2 gallon jug of 2% reduced fat milk and plops it in the ofice fridge for all to see. Then, sitting back smugly, chuckling under her breath, her half lidded eyes glaring balefully to all asunder, she crosses her arms and sniffs with approval at the plot she is unrolling...

Post police here!

WEll I was curious...so I counted.

Today -for the 4 1/2 hours of "work" so far Essie has 50 posts......yesterday her workday included 75 DIS posts. That averages about 10 posts per hour, or about one every 5 minutes. And noone thinks that is excessive????

Holey mololey.......I've known people who were terminated for excessive internet use!

Anyone care to join me on my "ignore the meanies" mission?

Yes, but I have a soft spot for the "meanies." Sometimes I feel like they really just want to be noticed, and get attention. Even if it is only negative attention. It's really quite sad.

You are very wise, though.:sunny:

ROFLMAO!! :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: That is toooooooooooooo funny! We used to have someone stealing food out of the fridge in the doctors' lounge at the hospital. Then a note went up that if you put anything in there, it had to be labeled with your name. I think they finally decided it was someone on the night shift. A few years ago when there was a hurricane on the way, we stayed in the offices. I remember going to the lounge for coffee or something. There were three guys from the ER on the computer playing games. I'll bet you they might know. :smooth: LOL!

The pen by my computer at work as well as the one in my planner just happens to be green.

hmmmmmmmmmmm................::yes::

Rock, I am sorry. I don't mean to sound so bad. I am a religious person, I pray to IPU each night for guidance. I am really unhppy that I offended you. And I do have a list of faults that I am working on. SO even if you don't believe me, I am trying hard to do better. Not better than anyone else, just better for me.

Forgive me?

No, you went to buy the milk....not steal it!!!!:teeth:

Minus the work police debate, this thread is hilarious! You should start a comic strip about it...maybe make it into a movie (a la Office Space).

The work police does remind me of my evil boss - she once accused me of too much Internet usage at work and threatened to "pull my cookies". Knowing she had no clue what she was talking about, I told her "The only cookies in my jar are chocolate chip ones, which represent the company's intranet. The may be one or two oatmeal cookies for the Internet, but that's okay because oatmeal was representative of our corporate home page." She nodded the whole time and was completely satisfied with my response.

LOL.

My boss doesn't really know internet lingo, but she does look at a lot of sites at work and occasionally sends us links to amusing stuff.

I can't imagine her ever saying "pull your cookies".

Honestly, if her boss doesn't care, why should we?

For some reason, I think that picture is sooo creepy...

If you sing it in the right tone, You Better Watch Out is filled with dread and horror.
