Yippee for you.

And to quote a wiser man then me, "Let he who is without sin cast the first stone." How would you know your company blocks the DIS unless you tried to log on during working hours?

My company blocks ALL internet sites, unless they are specific to our work. No need to try anything. We are there to work, when we first got out computers they were set up only to access certain address. Any one who tried to access any other site was put on warning, several people have been fired. I need my job, I know better than to try.

Again, I come from a much different work environment that Essie. We are not able to have the freedom that she has. If you ONLY worked in a place like I do, then that would be your point of reference, too.

Essie's posts don't offend me, I just can't picture a work plac e that allows people to spend so much time on non work related sites. But I am wrong, there are lots of places that let you, I need a new job for sure.

Since ALL of you feel that she is right to post all this on your board, and I am wrong, I appologize to all of you. I am obviously an idiot and you are all so much better than I am. I won't EVER question anyones work ethics again, inclusing my own, because I need a new job, I need to chill out, and I need to never question your illustrious leader (?). If you would like to continue to pick on me, feel free. It's so Disney like.

Monkeyboy, I LOVE your new tag!!!!

Welcome to the Dis, Hessmen! You picked the wrong person to question, as you may have figured out. It is okay to question and put down some people, but not others. Go figure. Hope you stick around anyway. Most of the people here are nice helpful people, and many will engage in discussions without attacking.

You are welcome to talk about yourself on here. It's a little bit depressing on here today but don't feel like you need to stick to that theme. I'm really in the mood to talk about anyones saga today. You, Bojangles, and you-know-who can all spill your guts if you like. Whats bothering you? What motivates you? Have you ever felt the need to steal milk? Is it somehow Freudian?;)

All I know is that I want some of whatever it is you are taking today.:sunny:

It's all all natural, man! You do sound a bit depressed. Is their anything we can help you with?:D

What motivates you?

Music definitely, but there is no song to motivate the need to steal milk :smooth:

Ok, HOW the heck do you QUOTE so it says the original poster?

Hit the quote button at the end of the post and then just type away. Hey you live kind of not too far from me. I like C-burg. I saw a really good local concert there before.:sunny:

Had you simply responded to the actual content of this particular thread and not come across as condescending or holier than thou, perhaps you wouldn't have received quite the backlash that you did. You know exactly why you have received such comments. There is no doubt in my mind or anyone else's why you irritated the heck out of the vast majority of us.

For point of reference, simply review your previous posts on this light hearted thread and you will see exactly what I am referencing.

And for the record, arrogance or writing comments dripping with disdain is most definitely NOT Disney like.

Now back to the Tale of the Milk Thief...

At one job I used to work at people were stealing sandwiches.
After people started making whiskers cat food sandwiches that stopped.

Gloria the blonde once heard that milk baths would make you beautiful. She left a note for her milkman Alan to leave 15 gallons of milk.

When Alan read the note, he felt there must be a mistake. He thought she probably meant 1.5 gallons, so he knocked on the door to clarify the order.

Gloria came to the door, and Alan said, "I found your note to leave 15 gallons of milk. Did you mean 15 gallons or 1.5 gallons?"

Gloria said, "I want 15 gallons. I'm going to fill my bathtub up with milk and take a milk bath."

Alan asked, "Oh, alright, would you like it pasteurized?"

Gloria replied, "No, just up to my waist

Nope. Nor would I attempt to get revenge on a co-worker for stealing food. I'd just bring a little cooler with me instead of using the fridge. Adding cat food, Ex-lax, and the various other things to food that people here suggested, knowing someone will eat it is worse than the stealing.

I have made the decision to just ignore the mean-spirited posts. There are way too many nice people floating around here to pay attention to the negative ones!

Anyone care to join me on my "ignore the meanies" mission?

So let me get this straight, the administrator said that whoever taped "I stole your milk" will be fired?

What if that person wasn't the person who actually stole the milk. I wouldn't steal anyone's milk, but I think posting "I stole your milk" is kind of funny and as long as it is not a constant thing, see no problem with it. In fact, I would think that the person who posted that note is probably not the person who actually stole the milk, just someone trying to get a laugh.

The termination thing is way over the top, over milk.
Maybe accomplices go also. ;)

NICE TRY!

Go back and *READ* your original post. Your original message isn't friendly, nice or even a poor me post. You attacked someone. Her friends and those enjoying this thread based on the OP responded. Some of us responded in kind, others responded kindly. Now you above quoted, 'poor me' post. Get over it. If you had made an original post lamenting the restrictive policies enforced at your forced labor camp (a.k.a. workplace) you would have gotten our support, care and some friendly suggestions. Instead, you attacked first, and were responded (by many of us) in the same tone.

So, if you really mean anything quoted above, simple say (and mean) I'm sorry, and we'll all have a group Disney hug and snort the Pixie Dust Together! (Hey you tagged old-timers, can I say Snort The Pixie Dust Together, or do the moderators require STPDT! instead?)

Seriously, if you become sincere, all can and will be forgiven, but IMHO you attacked first, and were rather nasty.

And even though I quite the newbie, it is no accomplishment to pick on you, you do most of the work yourself.

Peace Out Dude!

Word To Ya Mother!

OMG!

A guy I know and like who works here just told me that someone accused him (seriously) of being the milk thief. He had to go to HR to clear his name and everything...

Meanwhile...someone just made a fuss about their milk being stolen. But then they realized that they had just had it accidentally pushed to the back of the fridge.

Oh the excitement here never ends. :teeth:

Monkeyboy - you are a riot.

Oh good, now I can add condesnding, holier than thou, and arrogance to my long list of faults. Anymore? I need to list them all so when I pray tonight to IPU, I will be able to overcome them.

I appologize again, I had no idea I sounded that way. Thnak you for pointing it out.

I'm sorry; how is packing my own lunch, made with whatever foods I choose to make it with, worse than stealing someone else's lunch? I don't want anyone to steal my lunch; if they didn't steal it I would be very happy. If they do, then they have to assume the risks of what I pack. Again, if they weren't breaking the law, then they wouldn't have to assume any risks at all with regard to my lunch, would they?
