Hello there

Looking for some help - Ive read masses on touring plans for Disney Parks but not a lot of info on Seaworld. Is there a best day to go is there a touring strategy? Can anyone point me in the right direction?

I might be able to help a little. We went a few weeks ago. It depends on what you want to do and see. We you arrive you need to pick up a list of show times and then you plan you day around which shows you want to see. The day we went we went to downtown disney in the morning and then let the kids 2 and 4 sleep in the car on the way to sea world. We even sat in the car for about 30 mins longer when we go there and let them sleep some more. We still had plenty of time to see most of what we wanted to see. We went on a Wed. in May, it wasn't too crowded. My favorite part was seeing the killer whales from the underwater viewing area, they were very interactive and played with us. What are the ages you will be traveling with or any specific questions, maybe I could help.

We were so glad that we visited Sea World. Our 4 1/2 yr old DS loved it. We also went on a Wednesday but it just happened that way. I don't think you really need a touring plan. When you arrive in FL. there are tons of brochures everywhere to pick up about Sea World. We did have a map before we got to the park. We just kind of picked the shows that our DS was interested in. All the shows were great. The animal exhibits are excellent especially the polar bears. It is alot slower park than WDW. We did arrive at opening time and headed back to POP around 3. We got to see everything but Sea World was less crowded. It is a very beautiful park. We ate at Voyagers.

Have Fun

It is a beautiful, relaxing park but I disagree that you can do the park by 3 or 4pm. To see all the shows alone could take almost an entire day(Shamu Adventure, Clyde and Seamore( the sea lion show), Pets Ahoy, Odyssea, Fusion, the beer school, Blue Horizons, and even Shamu rocks America( the night killer whale show). Then you have the rides like Kraken, Journey to atlantis, Wild Arctic. You also have walk through attractions like the Penguin Encounter, You could spend half an hour at Dolphin Cove touching the dolphins and seeing them in the underwater viewing area, The Shark encounter, the stingray lagoon, pacific point preserve. You might want to go up in the observation tower, inside wild arctic you can see the polar bears, beluga whales and walruses from above and underwater. And most important, a stop by the hospitality center to pick up some free beer! Don't forget some shopping and Dining in their new Waterfront area. It's a park that can definitely be done in a day but you better get there early and pick up a map to see the show times and schedule your day around them.

Depends on the day you go, we go to either BG or SW every tuesday and it's empty, seems to be a great day to go. If you can go on a weekday, I think you'll be able to see everything but IT WILL take a whole day if you've never been. I'd be happy to get my old show sched for a 9-9pm day and let you know what they times were give you an idea of what to do and when.
