Good afternoon creative people!

I am probably posting this in the wrong spot, please accept my upfront apologies for that. We are leaving for our very first Disney trip in 1 week and 1 day and I am crazy excited! Our children are DS3(soon to be 4) and DD6.

We have debated on how and when we are going to tell them about the trip and have finally settled on making a "storybook" to read before bedtime in the next couple of days. It is essentially going to be a photo album using the photobooks available with either Walmart or Snapfish with family pictures illustrating a make believe story with the kids as the main characters and at the end of the story will be the big reveal!

My question is this, I need a few Disney images to include in my storybook. Characters, Cindy's castle, maybe Tink-that sort of thing. It doesn't need to be anything created just for me (although I wish I had stumbled upon the DISign Board before today, I probably could have gotten much more elaborate with my idea.) Just clean images I can add to my photobook without them being fuzzy or extremely pixelated (is that even a word??) :confused3. Any ideas?

sounds like all you need to do is GOOGLE for the specific characters you want and look for clip art (or Google "Disney clip art" and see what is available)

I always select LARGE as the size for my DISigning but for your purposes Medium or Large might work. Easy to tell what is a good clean image and what is not!

Also list of clip art links in the How To sticky...

Thank you RustManFan, I did perform a google search and that is where I found the images I currently have. I was hoping for photo images as opposed to clipart. The problem is when I save them and place them into the book I am creating I receive a warning that they may be pixelated and fuzzy upon printing. I could make them smaller in the book but that takes away from the look of the page. Is it something that I am doing wrong when I save them or is that a typical result from photo images pulled from the web? I understand this is no ones problem but my own so I appreciate anyone who takes the time to read and/or make a suggestion!

Once you find the image, look at the size (100X150) of the image. If the size is below 300x300 then click on "more sizes" or "similar to". Google changed their search functions, so I started using Bing. I try to find pictures that are over 500x500 if possible. See if that helps.

I put a bunch of balloons tied together in a large shopping bag and at the end of the balloons I put a tail like a kite and put on several sheets of different colored construction paper - we are ALL GOING TO DISNEY WORLD!
Then they each held up a sheet of paper and I took their picture. Taking pictures of them, looking into the bag & then holding the sheets of paper make great photos for a scrapbook!:goodvibes

Dee Hill, I took your advice and it worked out perfectly! I finished my book last night and it should be ready by tomorrow, thanks so much! :thumbsup2
