I am new to WISH, but have been training for events for about a year. Right now, though, I am recovering from major surgery on Aug 2. I plan to be ready for the 13k at ToT, though! I am (very, very slowly!) walking 1/2 mile per day and as soon as I'm cleared by my dr will start increasing both speed and distance. Wish me luck!

Must head to Indiana to buy some tickets.

and it was about 14 years old but served the purpose. On my last run before I bumped up to 3 miles, I was on it and I hear a big CLUNK, ok, that was weird but everything still seemed to be working, at the 2 mile mark I hear another big CLUNK and now the treadmill is loud. Hubby came down and noticed that the manual incline bar had broken. That last half mile for me went by quick and was easier.
Jogged 3 miles on it and on a 1.5% incline. Figured I have been running on the incline all this time, may as well continue.
